Spiked and broke. Ugh

Anyway I have strep and now I'm at walgreens waiting for my abx.

Laura - Hi!

I am eating a late lunch. This day is not turning out how I had in mind, but that is not a bad thing!

There is a volunteer orientation at the elementary school this afternoon at 2, and all parents who want to volunteer need to attend one of these. So I decided today was the best day to go. I figured Kate and I would just play and I would have her skip her nap, then we could both go over there for it.

Then my mom called to tell me this woman at our gym was booking facials at half price through October, and if you booked today, you also got an add on-either a peel or eye treatment for free. She wanted me to go book one for myself (and offered to pay, since she was forcing me into it, but it is only $40-I can handle that), and asked me what else I had on my plate today. So when I told her, she said to just take Kate over to their house after I picked her up from preschool, and she could nap at their house.

I argued about it, but then she said they are going away for 2 weeks soon, and she would miss Kate.

So, that is nice!

And Kate had a GREAT first day-she was supa excited.

Hi Robin and Tracy! I won't be able to stay long. And I am getting annoyed about having to say that all the time.

I was supposed to go to the gym today.

I did go, but only to book that facial, lol.

However, I did get on the treadmill for 25 minutes, so I got some exercise and was sweating like a pig!!

Small steps, but at least they are in the right direction.

I feel like I need to adjust to the new schedule with school this week, then head back to the gym.

Maybe that is just an excuse. IDK.

Tracy-that is awesome!! You will be able to take K to school without the boys, right? That will be nice.

I am looking forward to the weekend too.

Bill said he is going to try and take off either F or T as well, but he isn't sure he can because 2 other guys on his team have already taken off both.

but if he does, he is doing so to have time to get his truck motor put back together and back into his truck, so IDT we'll see a ton of him.

Still-it is nice when he is around...for the most part, lol.

I wish my husband would  have taken all next week off. Normally he would with a four day weekend but he has to do some things plus I need him to have enough days to take off closer to my due date.

Megan, sorry about your toes! Ouch! I can't imagine walking around in heels all day long. My feet would HATE me. But your free weekly massage sounds fantastic! : )

Tracy, I hope you get a chance to rest this weekend! For us, its MORE work when DH is home. He's like another kid I am having to entertain. LOL

Hi Robin!!!

My day has been ok, all three kids have colds and Avery is teething on top of that. So my morning was filled with baby snuggles and keeping a slight fever down for her. Poor little girl. I hate seeing her sick. Austin doesn't mind it so much, but he tends to wipe his nose with his hand/arm. Its great. LOL

Other than that I watched an episode of Doctors this morning talking about the grossest places. Uh, I don't think I will ever sleep in a hotel again. Or use a tanning bed (not that I did before, but YUCK!). And they said that you should wash your sheets after every time you have sex, or once a week if you sleep in PJs. LOL Weird.
