Joe and I are going to his brothers in PA this weekend, then I hope we can do a couple of weekend things with my sister and nephew and I am sure we will end up in MA at least once.

I have been getting up at 5 when Joe gets up.

I make him coffee and lunch which I could do at night but I like seeing him before he goes to work.

The only problem is that I cannot fall back to sleep when he leaves at 5:30.

It's making me a little grouchy in the afternoons.

Travis is watching Lucas for me T, TH & F, it was the only solution I had.

My boss has stuff that needs to be done so I am going in for a few hours today.

I totally dont want to though, I have stuff I want to do at home.

Good morning!

Summer goes by so fast and there is always things I want to do that I haven't done. I still want to take E to a children's museum. I know there is more, but since I haven't had coffee yet, my brain is limited in memory. giggle.gif

LL, how's the new arrangement going? Does Joe like his job? Is 5 continuing to be a tool? Has Niki started working?

Morning!

Hi, Allison and Libby!

Well, summer break is over.

I plan to have tons of fun with Mark today, tomorrow, and Friday then both kids will be at school next week.

I would have liked to squeeze in a short trip with the boys before school started.

Too late now.

Plus we don't have money for that.

I am rushing around still trying to clean up the aftermath of my ds moving back in. Part of the problem I have is I start to get rather cranky when I am cleaning it so I stop. We have friends coming in a couple of hours. They have an immaculate house. I guess this will be the test of true friendship.

Robin, I have no idea why they must fight. Sometimes my ds teases E and there is a huge age difference there. It makes me bonkers! Maybe going to school together will help.

Well Henry just left for school so they won't be fighting with each other until after 3pm.

Mark is in his room watching "Elf" but he wants me to come play.

I'm sure he'll come back in here and ask me in a sec.

Kids started school today so summer is over for us. Of course it was 80 degrees when I took them to school. I'm home by myself for the first time in a really long time.

Everything is awesome so far. Joe likes his job, it's tough for a restaurant guy to get used to the hours though. Nikki doesn't really like hers lol but she's fine lol and of course 5 is being a tool. He will be forever LOL

Elizabeth just got up and said her throat hurts. It's a little pink but could just be from allergies. I am thinking I might need to call and see if our friends still want to come over. Ugh!

Alicia, I sometimes find when it's been a long time since I have been alone, I have a hard time choosing what to do. The possibilities always seem so endless. lmao.gif

So I don't have to go to work afterall.

Travis originally said no about watching Lucas for a little bit today so my boss didn't think I was coming so she had someone do some of the work. I called to tell her I could come in and now she doesnt have 2 hours of work for me. *sigh*

LL, I feel for you on the sleep. Granted I am not pregnant, but I have sleep issues. I think my children know when I need to sleep because that is when they always wake me up early or during the night. E only sleeps in when I am up early and my dh is sawing logs.

GM! I really have to get work done today and I have a meeting in 15 minutes but I wanted to say hi.

LL, I think we should fix 5 and EJ up. They'd be bestest friends.

Ethan had a good day at school yesterday but EJ said he wouldn't go to sleep last night and complained about not having a nap. Which is funny because he used to complain that he had one. Figure it will take a couple of days for him to get used to it and then miraculously all our night time sleep issues will be solved. Right? Right? Someone say yes.

i can't believe how early everyone else's kids start school.

i also can't believe how many k programs are full day.

there are 8 elementary schools in my town and each has 3-4 half day k classes...they don't have the staff or space to make all the k kids go full day.

idt connor could handle full day quite yet anyways, so that is fine by me.
