I have 2.5 fairly big closets in my condo(the .5 is my bathroom closet which is big but has a lot of unusable space cuz the hot water heater is in the back). With Joe moving in I need to get them super cleaned out and organized and I have no idea where to start.
Ideas??? They are not walk in they are long (and kind of narrow) with bifold doors
Hmmm. Rubbermaid containers. I also put rubbermaid drawers inside of my kids closets that are like that and it gives me more room for storage and what not.
I think what April posted would be great. I have also used some closet maid shelving for the closets in our house. You can get some of those canvas bins that fit in the slot to put things like underwear.

I'm thinking of putting a bar in the bathroom closet and hanging a shoe organizer on it.
Just try to utilize every space - hooks on doors for towels - we do that for the boys' towels and that frees up room in the linen closet. Shoe organizers on the backs of doors - you can also use those in bathroom and put other things besides shoes in them.
