Morning!

What's the oddest thing you've seen lately?

This morning, I got up before the sunrise to go exercise.

On the other side of my neighborhood, I saw an SUV that looked like it had been decorated with paint (like for grads or weddings). But it had big splotches of pink, yellow, and blue all over, and in one section it said "SUCK".

When I got closer, I realized it was completely decorated with post-it notes.

i actually heard about something like this on car talk. - yes, i'm a npr nerd.

i sure hope they take those post-its off the car pretty quickly because they can ruin the paint job if left on too long and/or in the rain.

My elderly neighbor in a sun dress with her boobs at her waist. My DS said look it's mamaw.LOL and gross. At first I read oddest as oldest and my answer would have worked for both.

I'm thisclose to requesting premium membership even though I'm trying to resist the temptation.

That thread is actually busy these last couple of days.

that is odd, robin.

i wonder if they knew the person who did it...seems like a pretty time consuming practical joke.

when i was younger my friend's parents car was covered with bologna when they woke up after halloween one year. there was also a potato in their tail pipe. their paint was ruined.

i sometimes have the urge to go premium again too...but then tell myself that not being premium avoids the black hole time sucking that m/s used to cause me. (between f/b and my deal boards i can't juggle another internet addiction;)

Joe has a second interview for the job he intervoewed for on Tuesday. Please cross all your fingers and toes that this is it!!!!

My friend that I used to work with that lives in MA now is opening a childrens store and wants to stock a ton of Boots n Bananas. This is both exciting and terrifying. I'm hoping to get a nice fat check from her this weekend and then I get to order fabric which is my most fave thing to do ever LOL

It is actually cool and breezy this morning.

We're supposed to go swimming today so I'm hoping it warms up quickly.

Otherwise, brrrrrrrrr.

My kids are making invitations for Mark's birthday party.

I was okay with Henry making them for his party. I'm not so sure about this project, however.

I need to put some special instructions on Mark's. Plus

Good morning everyone.

I'll have to think about the question, I see odd stuff everyday, lol

Like for instance, my baby likes to stick food between her toes and in her ear, and then eat it

That's pretty odd, lol

Well, I let them make the invitations with my help.

I just need to check the spelling of one of the invitees (Sara or Sarah), and then I'll get to put them in envelopes and mail them.

Mark kept pitching fit after fit this morning--being happy and fine one second, then psycho-moody.

When I was loading the dishwasher, I noticed that Mark had put his breakfast plate on the counter WITHOUT eating any of his breakfast.

That explained the mood.

That must make her food sweeter.

I have errands to run but the neighbor-kids are playing here now.

My kids have been invited across the street when they're done here, and I could ask their mom if she'd mind if I ran a couple errands.

It's just that she never goes anywhere when her kids are here.

I got my parents to watch my kids for a while last evening after dinner so Glen and I could deal with our July budget.

We're starting upside-down so after Glen gets paid--not today but next Friday--and pays all the bills, we'll still be negative.

So we were trying to come up with a strategy to get us back up to zero before Glen gets paid so we can actually use the budget we made for his paycheck.

He may try to sell some golf clubs on ebay.

My stoopid car insurance went up because I had a traffic incident a couple months ago after church. Booo.

I suggested we cancel our DirecTV but didn't get much of a response.

I knew Glen squirreled away some money without telling me, which is fine, but I wanted to know just how bad off we really were.

It did make me feel better that we do have some savings (part of which is allocated to our property tax for the year).

And he told me that when we're "negative" in the checkbook, we're not really negative in our bank account because he put a cushion in there to absorb our overdrafts that he didn't add into the checkbook.

However, by next Friday, it's likely that we'll be above the cushion so we'll really be in our overdraft protection.

But maybe not.

I didn't spend any money AT.ALL. yesterday.

So if I can just keep that up for a few more days . . .

Oh! Glen had an interview yesterday that sounds really promising.

So if y'all could pray and cross all crossables, it would be a nice pay increase.

Thanks!

I have lots to say this morning.

I'm baking steak fries for breakfast since we're out of bread, and I didn't feel like using my last can of biscuits.
