Hair Removal Products?

Have any of you tried the "new" hair removal products? The ones that are not shaving, Nair-like stuff, or waxing?

Do any of them actually work? The kinds that say you can just rub the hair away with something that looks like an oven mitt. Or Nad's?

Specifically for facial hair.

Thanks.

Smooth Away ( www.getsmoothaway.com )didn't work for me. It was a hit or miss and removed only a small amount of hair and left my skin irritated. I didn't try it on the face.

I just used Smooth Away... I loved it, but I only tried it really quickly (long story, but it wasn't mine), but it worked pretty well for what it is, and wasn't painful. I just used it on the legs though (nothing like getting somewhere in public and realizing you haven't shaved in a few days, lol.) And I hate Nads. A lot. (It's not horrible for the face, but anywhere else... omg.) I actually really like Avon's microwave wax for my face - it works fine, is easy, and lasts forever and a day.

I have used smooth away and didn't like it. I thought it was worthless. I have never tried nads-but the buff away type things don't work well for me.

I have not waxed, but my mother does and she says it is worth it to have it done. She said she wouldn't do it herself, but once she actually went and had it done, she will never go back-and she said it isn't that much for her brows and above the lip.

Bill uses Nair on his back and such, and likes it, but those things always irritate my skin. Generally, I use just the cream bleach on my face if needed, but then when I am on the steroids, I use a sally hansen hair remover that is formulated for the face, and it works well. (I get ultra hairy on steroids-just one of the many oh so flattering side effects)

I think I use the Sally creme for my lady-stache. It's hurts too bad to get waxed on my upper lip and I always break out. If I didn't break out I'm sure that would be my route, but there is no way I could do that myself. I have waxed my legs and bikini area myself before a vacation so I didn't have to worry about shaving. I just bought something off the shelf that was a wax and not a Nad's natural because with my course hair the natural just doesn't work as well.
