It is our long weekend so we have today off too. I have mixed feelings about it. The kids (mostly char) were out of control yesterday so I'd actually enjoy sending them to daycare today. I'm not sure what we will do
we considered the wildlife park but Jo has major animal issues and I'm scared introducing her to new animals will just make it worse.
Plus this is the week (Friday afternoon) for the "big move" at daycare so he will be leaving the teacher he has had for 2+ years and moving to the Kindergarten room. I feel sad for him but I don't think it will even hit him until next week when he is fulltime in the new class with a new teacher. His teacher now has a big, fun week planned for the kids (she's losing 5 I think that she's had 2+ years).
Ms. Kate will not be moving yet, probably later this summer when she turns 3. In other news, she has been agreeing to sit on the big potty at daycare which is huge b/c she's been so scared of falling off of it.
I work today and have a LOT of loose ends to wrap up, and then I took the rest of the week off...well except a lunch meeting on Thursday that somehow snuck in there.
I will be packing for our month at camp and super deep cleaning our apartment.
The boys wrap up may term at school on Friday. My goal for now is to pick them up from preK and drive straight to the farm. We'll see if that works out :)
sonya - I know what you mean about kids being out of control! I have been on the verge of losing it here for a very long time. My kids are running this show and I am just worn out.
We haven't had internet at home for 2 weeks. Tensions are high! We cannot run a business here without internet! It's not 1982 anymore!
I escaped yesterday for most of the day and got my internet on in McDonald's parking lot and later over lunch at Panera. It's ridiculous. We are connected now but I think it's through dial up (DH has phone line running to computer but it's running a bit fast for dial up so I don't know what's going on and am too scared to lose my connection to mess with it!).

good luck with all of that!
any word on the job for Travis? I've been mia so I might have missed any update.
Kris, i know how hard it is to see them move up. I can't handle thinking about it really. I love Charlie's teachers right now. He's been there for a year now. At least he'll be dropped off there in the morning when he starts school and they will walk them up.
mikey has his last chemo on thursday (plus 5 days of steroids) so he'll be totally done June 1. (where's the super excited yet nervous as HELL guy?)
thursday caroline has explore more day at school ...
busy week!
oh, and i'm hoping for a phone call for dh about a job interview. he talked with the recruiter and she loved him for the position and sent his info over to the company. the best part? it's a promotion and it's in the next town over - so .... 15 minute commute instead of 45

Nothing, which I sort of assume to be no, but at the same time it could signal that negotiations with another candidate are not going well and Travis might still get an offer. I'm moving forward like it is a no and planning on being here next year, but there is still that outside chance.
1. Meet work deadline, which means insane amounts of working. 2. Get my hair did. 3. Shop for bridal shower food. 4. Take my niece and nephews to several games since my sister is out of town. 5. Spend Thursday and Friday scrubbing down my sister's house since it's trashed because she's gone and the kids won't keep up on their chores, and she gets back the night before I'm having a party at her house. 6. Hosting a bridal shower for my niece on Saturday 7. Buying food for said shower. 8. Getting decorations ready. 9. Wrapping gifts. 10. Prepping games. 11. Cooking 100 cupcakes...
I'll just stop there, lmao. My week is crazy, and I have no idea how I'm going to get anything that needs done done. I should probably start by getting off the darn computer.
This week is a good laid back week for me and is super welcom. Today I have nothing. Tuesday I have my 3 hour dumb paperwork appt. Wednesday we have therapy Thursday we have nothing Friday we have therapy but dh has the day off so maybe well see a double feature at the drive in.

I just got up. Lucas is home on Mondays which means my house is TRASHED and he has eaten everything he could get his on. (I was asleep right on the couch in the room he was trashing so it's not like I was letting him run rampant, I just didn't care)
I have a bunch of stuff to do today.
~pick up vitamins ~two banks ~Walmart ~return my rental car ~laundry
There's more but I just can't think of it at the moment
