acme/shaw's shoppers...conagra deal this week!

omg.

is anyone else OBSESSED with this deal?

this is SUCH a great MM for me, i can hardly stand it.

as always, i'm shopping for us and then 2 other families.  plus, we're heading into boating season, so i'm always looking for food/drinks for those outings.  i'm planning on buying:

40 packs of hebrew national hot dogs
5 packs of brawny
5 packs of quilted northern
20 jars peter pan peanut butter
10 6-packs of snapple
10 boxes orville reddenbacher popcorn
10 hunts snack pack pudding
10 bottles hunts ketchup
10 bottle bbq sauce (i hate this so it doesn't get used much)
20 packs vanity fair paper plates & bowls
10 packs dixie plates
5 packs dixie napkins
5 cans Pam

i wonder if i can get this done in 5 days.  i don't have most of the Qs yet, so i'm only doing small shops for now.

SOOOO anxious!  :P

we have a conagra deal at our store this week too - when you spend $25 get back $10.  I combined it with the in-store special of $10 off $50 and my own coupon of $5 off of $50 - so we ended up spending $17.00 and got back $10 (my receipt said saved $64).  Highly addicting ;)

what is your deal? popcorn.gif

well, the hebrew national hotdogs are a money maker with the Qs.

they are 75c/1 and on sale for $3 each, but the shelf price is $6.49.

so wyb 4, it's $25.96 shelf, but only $7.50 oop and earn $10 cat.

so i'm using that extra $2.50 per trip to buy other stuff like milk, etc, that's not on sale.

the hot dogs are my base item each time and then i add in other stuff - like 3 hotdogs and 1 snapple 6 pack = 25.96 shelf, but only $8.50 oop and earn a $10 cat.

i'll be rolling this all week, as many times as humanly possible.  i hope to have enough hot dogs for the 3 families, plus enough diet snapple for me for all summer!

what is the biore deal?  we had cvs just open here, but i still like walgreens - although it is hit or miss with their customer service.  I hear horror stories all.the.time about them.  I've had a few of my own too.  but, right now, I have a few cashiers that I go to and have since learned the ones to avoid ;)

biore is a monthly deal.  it's buy 2, get $5 RR.  there are buy one pore strips, get 1 wash free Qs, so the week that they were on sale for $5 each, it was a killer deal.

now they're back to regular price, which at my store is $7.99.  still a decent deal since you pay $7.99 for both and get a $5 RR which is rolling.  :)

so, you ended up finding out your store does use psp? or are you shopping at a different location? i thought in the beginning of q'ing you found out yours went by sale price?

we didn't get this deal...which is probably for the best b/c we had the same one not too far back and i still have cases and cases of snapple and dixie, etc. i would need to rent a storage unit if we got it again this week!

my acme uses shelf price (or knockdown price, whichever is lower) and my shoprite uses sale price.

Could you donate that stuff to a woman's shelter or a soup kitchen?

i donate to the food pantry in my town already.
"extreme" couponing takes quite a bit of planning and shopping time though so i really should be thankful for slow weeks when we get them!
