Sorry I'm just learning with this iPad...
Manuel is trying out for the Puerto Rico National Swimming Team this weekend. On Tuesday he fell in his school and he has a sprain ankle. We are doing everything: ice, hot therapy, medicine...

He has been looking forward to this opportunity all year! His coach says he will be ready and I think he is more determine than anyone. I just hope his body react to it.

Please send any prayers you have...
I'll let you know if he makes it...

Amy your spanish is getting better!!!

Anyway I have not been around lately.  So many things going on.  Long story short my boy just crack up.  I think that between peer pressure and his ankle he just went out.  He finished fifth and he had to be on the top three to get a seat for PR national team.

He cried so much it broke my heart.  He wanted it so much.  I'm so proud of him.  After he fell apart he just pull himself together and did an event where he finished thrid but the event was not part of the elimination process.

Anyway he'll try next year.  We still have the championshiop at the end of May.

I'm sorry he didn't get it.  Poor guy.  That must be so hard for you to see him so upset over it too.  I hope he can get his ankle back in good shape!

LOL all of my Spanish is learned from google translator LOL

I am so glad his ankle was well enough to try out.  I am so rry he did not get the results he was hoping for but 5th place- holy cow, that is fantastic when you consider ALL the competition it took to get that far.

I hope May goes well.  Give your men a hug and tell them how very proud we are of them. They are all champions in my book.
