Good morning!

My favorite Easter candy is probably anything that involves dark chocolate and peanut butter.  Reese's peanut butter cups are nothing to sneeze at either.  The only one getting Easter candy here this year are our children though.  I bought very little candy in an attempt to keep dh and me from eating it.

We are suppose to go to some egg hunts today, but it's raining.  I am not sure what the plan is for rain.  This will be the first time E has gone to one of these.  So far her egg hunt has been limited to our house or grandma's house.

GM!  It used to be the little mini-cadbury eggs (I think that is what they are called).  Lately I am more of a spiced jelly bean girl (but not all, just the red and green and I waste the rest)

We are doing Easter today since the inlaws could come and since my sister in law is uper religious and would never drive up on Easter and miss her home service.

Boys already got their baskets.
Egg hunt to come out in the yard.  We can't do the huge one at the elementary school.  I'm too scared Tristen will get  into the wrong candy and have a reaction.  I haven't figured out the balance of over-sheltering and food allergies yet.

Reese's peanut butter eggs. Yum!

We have an egg hunt at church this morning at 10.

It is supposed to rain today but right now it is sunny and nice.

There's also a 5K at church this morning--right now--so I'm glad they're getting nice weather.

I'm eating a poptart for breakfast, then I'm off to shower and get ready.

Mark got in our bed at 7:40ish and went back to sleep!!

Henry just got up.

I don't know what allergies he has but I know our church has a peanut-free policy.

Also last year we stopped stuffing the eggs, so now the kids trade in their eggs for prizes--little cars, stickers, bouncy balls, stuff like that.

Mark just got up.

He's eating some oatmeal.

Henry just wanted a piece of bread.

Maybe I'll make some bacon.

He can't resist that, and it will give him some protein.

We've got a busy day today.

Oh, well, we're out of bacon.

I gave him a couple slices of American cheese, and Glen left to go get some biscuits from McD's.

He needs to hurry because our egg hunting festivities start at 10.

I went to the mall with my sil (bro's wife, John's mom) last night.

She was looking for an Easter outfit for John and something new for herself.

We started at Children's Place but they were REALLY picked over; she found a cute sweater vest for John.

Then we went to Dillard's, and they were having a so-so sale. She actually got John several tops and a pair of shorts.

I got Henry one shirt--Polo brand for $26. None of the Class Club (Dillard's brand) shirts had a color that I liked in Henry's size. Plus they were $19.99 so I figured I'd pay the extra $7 for a good color and fit.

I got Mark a new shirt to wear tomorrow to church at Walmart*. They didn't have anything that looked like it would fit Henry.

Oh, yes, I had a point.

I was drawn to the swimsuits in Dillard's, and I looked at the pricetag on one of the tops that I thought was cute--$96!!! For the top only. Yikes.

Then last night I dreamed about swimsuit shopping. Weird.

*Just to clarify, we aren't going to church at Walmart. I got the shirt at Walmart.

Morning!

My favorite Easter candy is the Chicks and Bunnies that are like circus peanuts. I gave up candy for Lent so I'm very excited for tomorrow!

Better finally get my day started. We slept until 9!! (Not the kids, just us.)

Good Morning!

We just returned from an egg hunt at church - it was raining and we are pretty drenched but the kids had fun and Jake found a special egg that gave Jake a large chocolate egg.  Since all he ever wants to eat is candy and chips he thinks he hit the jackpot!!

We will eat lunch and then color eggs.

when did Craigslist become such a pain?

I listed lots of stuff yesterday and got tons of responses.  All but 1 was spam.

what the heck?

It's been awhile since I listed anything but that was super annoying and honestly made me not want to go to the trouble of listing/selling anything!

I love the reese's eggs and cadburry creme eggs. Yum. The reese's trees at christmas and eggs at easter are the best!!! It's a good thing the regular PBC don't taste as good.

We're home from the egg hunt and a "picnic" at Sonic.

We were in the shade at Sonic and were freezing, so we took our food back into the van.

Henry wouldn't eat because he's too excited about the Pump It Up party.

So I saw the doc yesterday about my back. They really think I would benifit from a steroid injection. So I go in Monday morning for one. My annular tear is between L3-L4 but they are going to do it between L4-L5 where the siatic nerve is.

I'm nervous but trying to be optmisitic.

I jsut really want this pain to go away after having it for 6 mths. I really want to be better for this summer so I can actually get out and so stuff with the kiddos.

Good luck. I hope the steroid injection works miracles.

I'm bummed we found out my BIL is leaving his family to move to florida. Just up and leaving them. He has a 11 and 9 year old beautiful little girls.

DH thinks he owes to many people money so he is just running from his problems.
