I'm so tired this morning. I don't know what's wrong with me. I could go back to bed for hours. Maybe I'll take a bath.

Stuff is closed there??? Nothing is closed here but some offices. I'm off but I still clean that guys house (been doing it for almost 2 years) and have to go do that in a little bit. I am no longer in a rush, stupid train, stupid weather.

Boo to bad train service.

i'm off from school today. we lost all of our spring break except for today. sort of bittersweet.

also, things are really rough with the negotiations at school. we've gone the past year without a contract and there's lots of talks of new layoffs - they're saying 17 teachers. and our governor is a total teacher-hater and is trying to cause all sorts of riffs between all the teachers in the state. it's a total downer.

anyway, jake is going to school for a while today while emily and i run some errands.

and i forgot to make rice krispy treats for jake's party today, so i'm running around trying to do that right now before the garage door is delivered (ours was broken). matt's at the boat supervising them putting it in the water for the first time this year. yay!

april - i can't believe they took your spring break  that just sucks.azz. i will send up some prayers for your job & school. you know it's total crap times when TEACHERS are losing jobs.  my kids' district just let go of something like 73 teachers. the ones who lost their jobs wore pink the next day so everyone knew. it really bothered jake. he kept saying "it's so sad".

mikey's out of the hospital so dan's back at work for the day. i have a million and twelve loads of laundry to do. seriously, it's sad how BAD these machines are. they're in my townhouse, which is nice, but they SUCK. one load takes forever.

i bought caroline's easter dress and bennett's outfit (matching) but i don't have anything for mikey or jake that match. i wanted to get the kids' pictures taken this week since they were out of school on spring break. too bad we spent the majority of it in the hospital

hubby has a phone interview with a big company on tuesday so all p & pts would be GREATLY appreciated.

I have old, awful laundry machines as well.  It makes it so much harder to do the wash.  The dryer takes 2 cycles to dry things, no matter how much is in there.  It is probably just a sensor or something that and could probably be fixed, but we have never done it-it is not a priority to Bill, even though I tell him how much energy it wastes.

They were here when we moved in and were 8 years old then, so they are almost 16 years old now-and they were obviously the cheapest ones, kwim?  But they work and I just hate to replace them.  I would rather leave them here when we eventually move and get new ones in the next house.  But that is looking like it is going to be longer than I thought, lol!

I'm sorry you haven't gotten to take pics-but I am so glad Mikey is HOME!!!!

So Easter plans-well, my brother and SIL are bringing their kids down here today to spend the night at my mom and dad's so they can go bike ride in to DC tomorrow morning to see the cherry blossoms-they haven't done that in years. I think the last time was before we had kids and we all went together!

Anyway, they are coming to our house on their way down this afternoon, and my SIL said fish tacos (which we are having for dinner) sounded good, so I invited her and the kids to stay. So they are coming to play this afternoon and then have dinner. I am hoping Bill will be able to leave work a little early to help entertain everyone while I make dinner.

Tomorrow we are dying eggs with daddy, then my mom and dad want us to take the kids over there to play with their cousins again-it is easier when all of them are together. Then we are having dinner at my mom and dad's house with all of us.

Sunday we have church (we are still deciding when to go-before or after breakfast), then breakfast/egg hunt at 9:30 with Bill's family. Then we usually go see my parents, but since we are having dinner and baskets with them on Saturday, we might not do that. Then we will have some downtime at home in the afternoon, then we go to the farm for the big egg hunt there and stay for dinner.

Busy.

My dear oldest daughter just drew a picture. It was a face with all these dots all over it. I asked her what it was. She said it was me. I asked her what all of the dots were (I have terrible acne because of the steroids right now) and she said, "I don't know-I guess you must be allergic to something."

Gee, thanks honey. Way to make mommy feel good, lol.
