Good morning!

I'm working a make-up day today since we're off this Friday.

We have Easter Monday off as well so I have to work next Wednesday.

I'm really not a fan of working Wednesdays.

It put a big wrench into my Easter shopping plans.

However, I did get out last night with my mom.

We went to the Dollar Tree and Target and of course I got WAY more than I had planned.

Oops.

While we were out shopping, I decided to do treat bags for Henry's class.

When I was putting those together, Mark asked if I would do bags for his class.

I had to tell him no; I'm not the "room mom" for his class [and I'm not on the Easter party committee].

I pressed the Snooze button and went back to sleep hard this morning.

Mark's Easter party is at school today.

That should get him to wake up in a decent mood.

I hope.

He had a gross snotty nose yesterday.

I need to remember to give him some allergy medicine this morning.

Everything around here is starting to bloom so allergies are going berserk.

It's supposed to be 79 degrees today.

mikey is still in the hospital. blah cry

this is the 4th day. his temp was 100.7 in the middle of the night. idk of they will consider that a fever or not.

i can't wait one more day. i'm going to the hospital this morning. i miss mikey so much.

((((((HUGS))))))) I am sorry, Sara. It has to be so hard having your baby in the hospital that long. I am still praying, and I hope he comes home today.

Good morning ladies!

I had to go to labcorp this morning for bloodwork. I went early because I had two orders from two different docs and one was fasting, and since I have to take my meds at a certain time, I wanted to be done before then. I made an appt online, which I think was a good idea. They see you faster if you have an appt.

Anyway, they took 7 tubes of blood. I didn't drink water before going because I didn't know I was supposed to, so I am glad they didn't have any trouble with me. I am usually good with the blood draws. I can even watch them stick me now-I never used to be able to do that.

Oh! Favorite drink. Well, I rarely go out with friends anymore, but I usually either have a hard cider or wine. That is pretty much all I drink.

I don't like beer, and while there are a few drinks with liquor that I like, I am very picky, and I tend not to like the kind of buzz I get from liquor, so I stick with wine and cider.

Cider is delish, but not available at a lot of places. I guess not everyone thinks it is delish, lol.

We are going to have a playdate with my BFF this morning. Her maternity leave is up this week, and my kids are finally healthy to be able to go up there and not risk giving the baby germs.

And it is finally a nice sunny day out, so yipee!! The girls should have fun playing with Caroline, and I am very excited to see the baby and my BFF.

We should probably get ourselves ready to go soon.

I was on my feet so much yesterday and did so much walking, I expected my legs to be really tired today. But they are not!

The steroids make my muscles weak, but maybe if I keep moving, I can counteract that!

I actually feel pretty good today-which is lovely!

I've never needed an alarm clock since Koda was a baby. Boy is a morning person. Always up by 6:30ish.

Until today.

Now that the entire house was late for work or school, I will be digging out my alarm clock, blowing off the dust, and putting it back to use. Crazy.

Now, if only he will sleep in on a Saturday. biggrin

Last week my univeristy announced the elimination of entire academic programs due to bedget shortfalls.

today they announce additional layoffs before summer.

Yeah, morale is awesome around here. Productivity doesn't have a chance.

Um, it's spring break and the kids have let me sleep late all week. That means we missed class as the gym. Oops!!

My favorite alcoholic drink is Malibu and pineapple juice. Otherwise I just let myself have a Sprite. Yum!

It's supposed to be 76!!!! here today. I even left windows open last night. This is the first time in the history of MN it hasn't snowed in March. Woo hoo!!
