I'd like to be an author. I'd like to write fiction and have an amazing imagination.

Hello!!!

I thought you meant like a superpower, lol.

Hmmm...what would I like to be able to do...I am not sure. I am going to have to think on that. For some reason, that is a tough one for me!!!

I went to the grocery store this morning-it wasn't too crowded when I got there, but by the time I left, it was. I used the self scanner though, so I was able to check out supa fast. I love the self scanners.

They also have this deli kiosk thing and you can just order what you want, walk around and they page your number when your deli order is ready. It is very handy-I do that first, then go get my produce, and usually by the time I am done with the produce, the deli order is ready and I just grab it and go.

I need to go make lunch for the girls...

Good morning, Supa!

I'm making your enchilladas for later this week! Yum.

I'm also making a pot roast for supper. Super delish:

Good Sunday!

There are so many things that I wish I had the ability to do that I don't know if I can pick one.  I tend to be more of a jack of all trades kind of person that can do most things, but doing particular things extremely well generally doesn't happen.

Sonya, what type of fiction would you want to write?  I think you have a pretty amazing imagination.  I bet you could do it.

Supa, glad your shopping went well and is out of the way so you don't have to drag your girls along during the week.  I wish stores here did the same thing your deli does.  That would make shopping so much better.

I am having to get some major cleaning done.  We cleared out the laundry room last night because tomorrow they are coming to check our water meter and see why it hasn't been working. (I am a little nervous because I suspect it might be because our dog tore the wire off out side. :bag:)  Then on Wednesday we are getting an new heating and air conditioning unit installed.  In our state we can get two different large rebates plus a huge tax credit, which makes it half price.

My mom might be coming this week too.  She likes to do projects, but I am having trouble narrowing it down.  We have too many to pick from, including ones that need finished.

Morning!

I wish I could sing well.

I just did the spring/winter coat swap. I'm pretty sure that means it'll snow in April. My whole house is a disaster. Mark has a list a mile long he wants to do, but he's sitting on the couch watching racing. He does deserve it.

Our business has really picked up the past couple of weeks. We're in line for a HUGE account. Please keep 'em crossed for us. This could mean Mark could quit his job so we can do our business full time which would make for a much happier husband.

Yum!!  I love those enchiladas.  And I love pot roast-delish!!!

We are having leftover spaghetti and meatballs this week, and then I am making chicken and mushroom fricassee one night and Friday we are having fish tacos.

Oh, and I also have to make a potato casserole for Easter dinner-I can make it and freeze it, so I will probably do that on Tuesday when my mom and dad are watching the kids.  We'll see.

You know, IKWYM Libby.  There are only a handful of things I do really well (singing, cooking...well, ok, so maybe those are the only 2, lol), but I do a lot of other things reasonably well.

I would really love to be better organized.  I don't know if that is a skill or ability, but I wish I were one of those people who kept everything neat and in its place all the time.  I feel like it would be a very good thing.

The deli kiosk does rock.  I mean, sometimes there is no line at the deli, but when there is, it is nice to just put in your order at the kiosk and be done with it.  Plus you can really look at what they have on sale and decide what you want-it also asks you how you like things sliced and all-so you can get it thick, medium or thin or whatever.  Very handy!  That store has become quite convenient between that and the self scanners.  This week they had good savings-but some weeks the dumpy store near me has better offerings, so I go there.  Good thing about that place is that it is dumpy and we have a lot of other nice stores around, so it is not usually very crowded.  People don't seem to mind paying more to shop at the nicer stores, I guess.

LOL-I always feel that way too.  I mean, I am sure we are done with snow here, but I feel like as soon as I switch the clothes, we will have a cold front come through or something.  I never fails.

I am keeping everything crossed for you!!!  I REALLY hope this account works out-that would be fantastic!!!!

We have a birthday party this evening. I am not a fan of the Sunday party, but my SIL works Saturday nights, so thus we are having it today.

We are at that time of year now. Next weekend of course is Easter, the following is my BIL and twin niece/nephew's birthday party, the following is both my niece and my BFF's, so we have to choose one or the other, the following is the Art Festival at school, after that is my another niece/nephew party, then the weekend of Mother's Day my cousin and her hubby and daughter are coming to visit. We have no free weekends until after Mother's day.

I mean, we will still have Sundays for the most part, or whatever day ends up without a party, but no completely free weekends. If one more person in my family or close circle has a baby in April, I will scream. We can not have anymore April birthdays!

Does anyone else's child love to dance and think they are a good dancer, but they look a bit like Elaine from Seinfeld?

This would be my darling oldest. She loves dancing-she loves her ballet class, and she loves to perform for us.

She looks a bit like she is having a seizure.

I hope she loves sports as she gets older, lol.

We just inherited Rokenboks from my nephew who is 11. We bought him quite a few sets for christmas when he was little.

They are awesome!

http://www.rokenbok.com/RO_Construction/default.asp

I posted pictures on facebook of what we built this morning. Char's been playing non stop since this morning. All the trucks have a place for a remote thingy and you can build whatever you want with it.

If you need something (big) for a 4 yr old, this is amazing.

LMFAO-that is a riot!!!!  Do you have a video of that???

It would be SO funny to see them together.  Anna LOVES to dance, but man...she just looks so funny when she does!!!

Kate isn't exactly on her way to becoming a dance star either, but she definitely has more grace than her sister, lol.

That would be Kyle.  He likes to dance and doesn't see that he's absolutely horrible at it.  I made him stop tap because it was embarrassing to watch.

My girls love to dance but they're all very good at it.  (shameless brag coming up)  The owner of the dance school here told me on Thursday that Rebecca did a completely controlled triple pirouette on Wednesday.  She said she'd never before had a child at that age able to do that.  Including the one she taught who is a principle dancer with the Memphis Ballet now.  She was also telling the other parents that were watching Brittany's class how wonderful a dancer Brenna is and how "the whole family" are good dancers.

An ability I would love to have? Hmm, that's hard. I think the one I'm wanting right about now is an eye for art. I just don't have it. I'm beginning to learn about colors, but everything else is awful. I can't take good pictures because I have no idea what it takes to make them good. I can't draw worth anything. My kids are mostly better at drawing than I am. Brittany and Kyle are the only exceptions, and I think Brittany is getting better which means she'll pass me up soon. My art skills are pathetic.

I think I'd also love the ability to say exactly what I mean. Finding the right word for what I want to say is so hard for me. Only rarely do things come out right.

play the piano.

i played till i was 10, then dropped it to spend more time on ballet.

i really need to take lessons again.  no excuse as we have a russian instructor at our house for cecile 2 times a week - but i am always busy... *sigh*

i just love classical piano so much - esp. rachmaninov, chopin and tchaivkovsky.

and i hate that i can slowly pick out notes to help cecile - its such a tease....

I'd like to be able to play music, too.

I have an amazing ear which is only disappointing when you can't play or sing at all. lol.

a depressing realization that i have no skills ;) I would love to be able to sing or play music. I also would love to have more domestic skills, ie. cooking, sewing, gardening.
