yesterday was DH birthday, today is DS1 birthday.  He turns 14.   DH got up early and made him a big breakfast.  Didn't help his teenage attitude though!

Sonya, I'm sorry Jo won't sleep through the night.  I could comment on this subject but refuse b/c I don't want to jinx myself!

I work this week--Monday, Thursday, Friday.

We're getting a new baby today so that makes EIGHT babies on Mondays.

Eight babies mean LOTS of work; Mondays won't be easy.

Today is Henry's birthday.

We're having dinner at my parents' house to celebrate.

Tomorrow I'm going to take Twinkies for Henry's class at lunch.

Also tomorrow, I'm supposed to go look at vinyl flooring and carpet for the hallway/kids' bathroom.

Good morning!  It's spring break here so E has no preschool this week.  Today I have my badly needed hair appointment.  I really don't have much thrilling going on this week.  I am going to buy a steam mop, which is exciting for me. giggle.gif

I have started my garden plans.  I am hoping that my ideas are actually put into action.  We have lots of projects we want to do.  We are also thinking of building E a little climbing cube with a loft on the top.  We don't have much space and everything we have seen is really just too big.  It will be big enough she can stand under it.

Happy Birthday to all these boys!  Obviously, it's a good day to be born.

Happy Birthday to Juanita Jenn too!

It's back to school this week for us. Blech. It's even harder than usual because Crystal and Kyle need to fit 5 days of work into 3 days because they're going to visit their grandpa this weekend. Dh is going to his sister's wedding on Saturday in Florida. That makes for a difficult week for me. Is school over yet?

Happy Birthday to all our Birthday folks!!

Today...I somehow ended up in charge of Braydon's school's yearbook. I was just supposed to help, but everyone else has bailed. The deadline is today so I ran in this morning to take pics.

Then I ran to the Depot to buy blinds for Kaylin's window. She's had a blanket on her window since we got new windows almost 6 months ago. Way to much $$$, that we don't really have, but I was sick of it.

Better get busy!

I have no plans this week except work. Luckly DH gets home today. He has been gone 3 weeks. And hasn't seen Faith in 5 weeks since when we got home from Florida he had to leave as soon as we got back so he didn't get to see her.

The kids are missing dad so much. They have been takling to him on their fake cells all week.

Wow-it is birthday day, huh??? Happy birthday to all our birthday boys AND to Juanita!!!!!

Sonya-I am sorry about Jo's sleeping. What does she do all that time? That is a LONG time to be awake!!

Sounds like everyone is busy this week-and YAY Sara for the u/s being moved up a day!!!! (of course it is April Fool's day now-but you had better not play any tricks on us!!!!!)

I don't have a ton planned for this week. The girls had school this morning and now are being noisy as all get out while they are supposed to be resting. I am annoyed about it because it disrupts my rest time, lol. And when they are noisy, I always end up making them stay up there longer and then they complain about it and I tell them if they had played quietly like they are supposed to, I would have gotten them up sooner. They don't get it.

Anyway, I went to the GP while they were at school and I have a sinus infection that is causing me respiratory issues as well. So he prescribed an antibiotic-hopefully it will knock this infection out. I had to call the GI though because I have to clear anything I take through him-I don't think this one should be a problem, but I can't start until I hear back from them.

Tomorrow I have no plans, Wednesday I am going to the OB/GYN for my yearly and to talk to him about my menstrual issues from the steroids. I am going to a new doc-but I have heard good things!

Not much else planned. The girls have Easter egg hunts at school this week, so hopefully everyone stays healthy for that!

I'm going to vent for a moment so I don't strangle my son. My temper is perously close to escaping.

First, ds. If he wants to go to his grandpa's house this weekend he needs to have his Social Studies review done today. What does he do about it? "I don't know the answer" and when I tell him where to find it, he still says he doesn't know. Then I told him the exact sentence it was in and he storms off crying that he doesn't know the answer. GRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WON'T give him any more than that. I told him I already know the answer so I don't need to do the assignment.

Next, dd. "I don't understand what I'm supposed to do." Okay, I read throught the assignment, explain to her what she's supposed to do. She rolls her eyes, shakes her head and interrupts me saying she doesn't get it. I take a deep breath, explain again, same response. Impatient now I explain again. She yells at me that that's not what it sounds like she's supposed to do to her. So I tell her to e-mail her teacher and ask then because that's what it sounds like she's supposed to do to me. She grits her teeth then does the assignment the way I said she should.

Next, another dd. Three sentences are the assignments. One hour later she's still sitting there with only 1 sentence done and she won't leave other dd alone. She's mad at me because I tell her to do her work every 10 minutes or so.

Finally (please remember I'm just venting and don't turn this into a discussion, at least not here) that dratted health care bill that passed. Minimum double my healthcare cost right off the bat to be raised to approximately double that in 4 years. How in the world am I supposed to afford that? And why should I have to when I don't even use the insurance I have more than once a year, tops. Why should I be required to pay for someone else's health care? I will do it willingly when I can afford it (and I do occasionally), but don't force it on me whether I can afford it or not. Grrrr!

Okay, I feel a little better now. Time for lunch.

I'm not sure she's awake all that time. She just yells every once in a while, normally just as I am falling back to sleep. She has an uncanny knowledge of the moment my eyes close. Sigh.

So, I think she sleeps for most of that time but I do not sleep at all.

Sucks.

I'm so tired right now that I could crawl under my desk and nap. Probably wouldn't look good at new job.
