a girl. At 13 weeks they said a boy, but don't paint the room. Now the U/S tech said she feels like it's a girl. The Dr came in and checked and said girl. I'm going to hold out until the next one in about 5-6 weeks.
I was kind of......IDK... I think boys are easier. I was a tomboy, I don't know what to do wth a girl, I don't want the mood swings that start at like age 7. I liked the idea of having a little buddy, though they'll be 5 years apart, so I am worried about them being close. I had a very hard relationship with my mother when I was growing up, so I'm afraid about that...
But, before the U/S, I did think about how girls are usually closer to their moms. Like when they get married, have their own kids... If Andrew marries, the wife would prolly call her mom about stuff like that.
Andrew flipped out at the appt, so that was hard. He's been asking for a girl, or alien, since Dec. Especially after they said it was probably a boy; and, my OB said he's never heard of them ever being wrong if they say what it is, we've been trying to talk to Andrew about how it'll be cool to have a brother. Well, that's what he wants now. He's kind of...well, not crying about it anymore. He wants to name her Stinky.
I'm still kind of in shock. Still in shock just from being pregnant. Now, a girl. Wow.

Thanks everybody. We're getting used to the idea. Andrew says the baby can be a fairy for Halloween, so I think that's a good thing.
