On site?

We stayed at the Polynesian last May, it was amazing!! Right on the monorail line as well. The room was HUGE and we had no issues with all 5 of us in there.

In 2008 we stayed at Pop Century it was nice, but you would be cramped with all 5 of you. The room is like a small cracker jack box and it is a good 20 minute ride to Magic Kingdom.

I have not stayed elsewhere but they go value, moderate and deluxe as far as pricing.

Thanks. It's for my parents so it's just the two of them. They want to be close. I'll pass this info along.

I stayed at the Grand floridian for my honeymoon. Gorgeous with its own pool and everything but expensive.

What do they want to be close to? They all have their good and better smile.gif

Magic Kingdom resorts

Poly is gorgeous...lush gardens. Have stayed there. Very nice. Deluxe resort price.
Grand Floridian...also beautiful, on the monorail, fancier than the poly.
Contemporary...don't like it, but it's on the monorail.

Wilderness Lodge. You get to Magic Kingdom by boat. You feel like you are in the middle of the woods. Very pretty place. On my "to stay" list. Also a deluxe.

------------------

Epcot Resorts

Boarwalk - have stayed here...lots to do. A 5 min walk to the back entrance of epcot. Great restaurants, beautiful lagoon...(about a 10 min walk to MGM) (or boat)

Yacht and Beach Club - Stayed at the beach club...very new england. Sand bottom pool. Also a 5 min walk to the back of Epcot. Can also walk to MGM (or take the boat)

Dolphin/Swan...not owned by Disney...stayed at the dolphin. Nice, wouldn't stay again.
----------------------

Coronado Springs -

Very nice. BIG resort. Reach everything by Bus. Have stayed here.

I agree. I've only been to disneyland but I absolutely love it. My parents are so cute they go by themselves with no kids and have a great time.

Thanks so much for the info, I passed it along.

I haven't been to Disneyland, but from what I have seen, it's nothing like Disney World!! If you love Disneyland you HAVE to go to DisneyWorld.

We'll definitely go when the kids are a little older. Like when we can drop Jack and Ryan off at a water park and take Sarah to disney or something.  Or when we're comfortable letting the boys go around disney and epcot by themselves. My parents used to let us do disney with a friend at 11 or 12.

Anyway, I'm going to have to also find that 3 day period when there is no humidity in Florida. LOL

That would ruin my trip. And you think I'm kidding.
