back on the wagon!

when i lost all that weight 1.5 years ago, i bought 2 pairs of 7 jeans.

i tried to put them on yesterday and you don't even want to know the result.

long story short, that was enough to get me back on the wagon.  i had pizza and beer last night for my blow out dinner and now i'm ready to go!

i'm also going to try slimquick this time to jumpstart my weight loss.  i have a LOT of bloating and water retention - this is something that has started over the past year or so and i'm not sure why.  anyway, from what i've read, it gets pretty good reviews.  i just need to watch my coffee consumption since the pills have caffeine too.  thankfully i will take my last pill at 11am due to my schedule, so that should be plenty of time to wear off before i head to bed at 10pm.

heading to the gym today and i have my calorie counter program open and ready to go!  yippee!!!

thanks for all the support everyone here has given me!

So happy to read this! Please come back to MSBL as well. We need more peeps! Can I suggest something? No? Well I am going to anyway. ;)

Would you consider doing a week of just getting back to healthy habits before trying slimquick? I just think if you get back to watching your water intake (upping it) and fiber (making sure you are getting a good amount) there is a very good chance you will see that bloating gone in no time without taking those pills. I have read that the side effects aren't too bad for some people but I've read some bad ones too (especially with peeps exercising). But a lot of people say that after they stop them they literally crash. Bottom line - it is a diet pill and that scares me a bit especially because you can do this without those. You've already done it before, you can do it again.

Also, please come to My Fitness Pal. Pretty please! It's awesome and very helpful and there is a handful of MS peeps there for support. I am so excited for you. It is such a good way to make YOU a priority.

ETA: ITU about the bloat. But after just watching my sodium, fiber, water (and eating better and exercising of course) I only lost 4 pounds but I literally lost 3 inches from my waist in no time - the bloat! You can totally do it without diet pills.

I have no doubt you will be right back in it and in great shape in a few months...give it time! You *just* had a baby. (I'm sure you hate hearing that. ;) But seriously, that is a huge deal for your body. How are your eating habits right now? I would totally focus on that for now and slowly. (SLOWLY add in exercise.)
