I know, I know. We're late on this one BUT!!!!!! We finally decided it was time. Better late than never. A little time is better than no time. We were overwhelmed with that which is the awesomeness of constant conversation by Colin, etc etc and so we thought Pre-K might be the place for him to go and our church has a wonderful Pre-K program despite it not being all day. AND they still had a spot open. We went last week and signed him up.. Amazing.
His first day was today and he did not want me and Addy to go along. Just Daddy and the dog... But the dog did not go. She stayed here too.
They got there early so they waited in the fellowship hall and then his favorite pastor came along and said it was time for school so he followed her to his class and his teacher showed him where to put his things and said it was time for centers and DH said, "I love you, son! I'll see you later!" And he said, "I'm busy, Dad. I'm building."
Wow. Thanks.
And so when he came home and told me, I cried because my tiny 5lb 11oz baby is now a Pre-K kid. *sigh* The time flies.
But I got to go in and pick him up like some crazed hurricane complete with camera! LOL And he did excellent! Not a single problem! And he already had friends.
His mother's child? I think so.
Of course it helps that in church- no one knows my name. They all know his.
