I'm having trouble finding a nintendo wii remote(and the wii fit board) so I was wondering if I should get a generic remote? Done that for xbox but not sure if the wii generics are good quality.
Are there that many games that need the nunchuck controller? None of Raven's games have needed it so far.
you can buy wii play it comes with the game and an extra wii remote. considering they are around $40 it is a good deal since you are getting a game and the wii mote.
Super Mario Brothers, Mario Kart, Wii Play are the ones that get played most often as a family.
i think that if you are doing the wii fit plus or the active you need the nunchuck. my boys also play WWE and they use it. But they love Mario Kart and Mario Galaxy and i don't think they use it.
Haven't tried the generic. But I think we have a couple of generic Wii items and they work just fine.
As for the Wii games made specifically for kids- haven't tried them. Colin LOVES Mario Kart so it gets played a lot around here. We're looking into getting Mario and Sonic @ the Winter Olympics. We have the other one and its a lot of fun.
Have you tried Game Stop for the Wii Fit? Or Target? Or even Best Buy? Try around and if one store in the area doesn't have it another store of the same kind can get it for you and hold it for you as for as I recall. I've done it before.
We got our Wii Fit and the controller at Best Buy right after Christmas, everywhere else was out of them. I am not sure about the generic controller, we have not used one, the nunchuck we have only had to use for boxing and some of the games on the Wii Fit, the one we really like to do together is Family Game Night 2, even though Dominic needs help, it is fun for us all to play together.

All of them and more. The lady at gamestop said to call everyday since they don't know when they will get more. We are getting an extra remote and nunchuck from my nephew and I ordered a generic from gamestop to try.
I think we will try mario kart next and DS wants wii resort.

Ooh! We have Wii Sports Resort! We like it! I love 100 pin bowling! I rock at it. Somehow..Not sure how but I do! It only comes with one of the Wii Motion Plus things so you'll have to share a remote or get another one if you don't want to share one.
