I found a cheat code and used a cheat code for a few days when I first started (well, about a week into it when I was trying my damnest to break 50k, and people on my list were in the 700k range.)
Then, it got boring very (very) quickly, lmao. Nothing fun about breaking 100k in 5 seconds, lol.
I put it on my Ipod and it's much quicker than on my laptop.
I'm not great so no real advice, but I know for a fact that some people on my list are using a code. Sorry, I'm not buying your 850k score in 60 seconds, lmao.
All my high scores, I've lucked into and and not saw them coming until they did, lol. Joe's naturally kick azz at it, and it drives me crazy.
i've never used a cheat code. and i'm not that good. jolynn and sara (at least) are always beating me.
with the new bejeweled, you have to be moving the gems as they are falling or else you'll never break 200k.
the more time you spend with the gems in that constant explosion state, the higher your score will be (if that even makes sense - it's when you are moving as fast as possible). also, you have to get the multipliers high. the best score i ever got was when i was at x7.
