roflmao.

I was just going to message you on facebook re: your comment on my photo this morning.

I change hourly from not being pretty lax about it all, to freaking out completely. I'm glad that either way, I'm not alone, lol.

(I am, however, beyond glad that the roads are bad enough to keep me from seeking out chip dip, lmao.)

I hate to break the news, but it's true.  We will all kick the bucket, but I don't really think that it will be happening soon.  After all, I am the old lady on this board and I am still hanging on. lmao.gif

I look at it this way.  We are all at different places in our lives with so many varying priorities and variables in our lives that we just have to pick and choose what we best have control over right now.  The bottom line is you have to do what works best for you.

This post made me crack up!

Kelly and Melissa, I am in awe of your committment. And I do not feel judged, imtimidated, or slighted in the least. I think you are both great examples of a changing attitude toward healthy living and I am really appreciating the info you have posted. Please keep it up!

That being said, I am a Diet Coke drinking, plastic plate eating, Lean Cuisine enjoying mom who just doesn't have it in her to swap out all household goods and most of my food for healthier options. I may actually regret one day not following your suit, but for now, it is what it is.

Kelly you are awesome and I love learning from all that you have researched.  I actually am happy to be more aware of these things and I also like that it makes it easier for me to change those things I want and can do it more easily.

I hope my earlier post did not make you think differently.  Besides, I am thinking about the shampoo thing now and might need some advice. biggrin

thanks all.
i totally dont mean to be preachy.
i'm just learning so much, and since we all have young families, it's so nice to be able to undo some of the stuff that they knew nothing about when we were little.
ask me any questions - i'm totally engrossed in this reading (it's a nice departure from my usual psych reading) and i have people in my life who are totally into all of this, and we are all learning from each other everyday.
it's interesting and fulfilling and something to feel good about on a daily basis.
and since i'm a researcher by profession, it's all doubly interesting for me.

:)
