Kroger is finally having another mega sale like one they had right before I started going to afc. Mega sale = Buy 10 participating items, get $5 off entire order. They also are having a 3-day sale (Thurs., Fri., Sat.) with GREAT deals--99 cent packages of Oscar Mayer hot dogs, 58 cent packages of hot dog/burger buns, 98 cent boxes of Little Debbie, and other stuff like that. Bad weather was predicted for today so I got up EARLY and went to Kroger yesterday before  my kids had to get up, and I got my 3-day sale stuff.

Now I have two other lists of stuff that I want to get from their Mega Sale along with tons of coupons, some of which expire on Sunday. But the bad weather hit. I am glad our sales run Wed. - Tues. so I'll still be able to go to the grocery store to get my mega deals on Tuesday but some of my q's will be expired. Boo.

I was REALLY hoping that the predicted bad weather would miss us, then I'd be at the store by  myself this weekend since everyone always stocks up right before any possible storm. No such luck.

(Plus we're supposed to celebrate my bday at my parents' house this evening, and that's when the REALLY bad weather will be here so I think it's going to be cancelled. Boo.)
