Good Morning!

What was the most stunning thing (good or bad) your child has said to you lately?

I'll go first.

This morning Caroline filled her shirt with stuffed animals and said ........

"I'm the fat wife. I'm Sara."

O.U.C.H.

I think I'd be more upset about it but I went out last night to a book club with some of my oldest friends and had a couple of glasses of wine and a TON of laughs. Best night I've had in a looooong time. So I'm totally more able to shrug off the comment and try to focus on taking good care of myself so I don't stay the fat wife.

omg, sara, i'm sorry caroline said that. i know it's so silly, but it does hurt when they say things like that, even if they don't really know what they're saying. my kids love to talk about my big butt. thanks guys.

omg, maybe you're right.

i'm just in a really lazy mindset lately.  i need to step it up.

i replied to your IEP thread, sara.  we have a lot of similar stuff going on with our kiddos right now.

gm girls

so much chaos

too much work

my stomach is fighting back and it's either stress or stomach flu.

i really shouldn't be here but everyone and their dog wants to meet with me to convince me to stay.

i hate disappointing people.

I always have such grand ideas and big plans in my head.

Problem is that is where they usually stay.  I'm so ridiculous to actual do those things in my head.

A problem I know I've inherited from my mother.

Today I actually acted.  I went online and found a white entertainment center to go with our wii and it's tv and I BOUGHT IT.

wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

now here is where my mind goes crazy.  what if it comes and I don't like it?  what if the company I chose is a scammer and I never get it?

I know, I'm crazy!

the other morning, we were in our bed (with Josie) and Charlie was still in his bed

he yelled: "Dad, how did the bear move before Elvis Costello was inside the bear?"

He has been obsessed with the Stephen Cobert christmas special and at one point, a bear eats Elvis Costello.

We had a 10 minute conversation about bears and what is inside them.

(oh, and the last time he watched it, it was a before Christmas. lol. He's obviously been thinking a lot about it).

Sonya, I'm lmao at Charlie. He cracks me up!

Sara, I'm sorry Caroline said that, but itu about the motivation.

Nothing is sticking out about Hannah, but that may be because she just lost some of her paper clips from her behavior jar (thanks supa!) and she's trying to bargain getting them back, and I can't think, lol.

oh, and something cute Josie said the other day:

we were getting something out of Charlie's locker and each locker has a picture of the child inside the locker.

She said "Oh Charlie. He has such beautiful eyes."

lmao. She's so dramatic.

The other night when Braydon was getting ready for outdoor hockey I had just helped him with his third shirt and his neck guard and he comes up with, "Mom, this is just so undistinguished!"

I have my nieces for the next three days and they both have croup. Let's hope we can all get some sleep!!!

Okay, so Hannah has decided to give me an answer for the question of the day.

I was asking her about a boy in her class (we pick up caravan style and his mom is the direct car in front of me 99.9% of the time). Anyways, I asked her if this boy (Mason) was nice and she said, "Wellllll, I didn't used to like him. But then one day I asked him a question and he said, 'Yes.' and I was like, 'Wow, Mason isn't such a douche after all.'" Yeah. MOTY, right here. Oopsies.
