I got to work the other day (I think the first day after Christmas break) and my co-worker said "Now that Christmas is over, all I have to look forward to is death".

Melodramatic much? lmao

She's booking a winter vacation so she's got that to look forward to now. lmao.

I, on the other hand, am looking forward to all kinds of things.

I'm looking forward to spring and no more snow suits, mittens, hats, boots, etc.

I'm looking forward to a work trip away next week - two nights in a hotel by myself! bliss.

I'm looking forward to selling my house - seriously, I have a million plans that start with "when the house sells..."

I'm looking forward to a new exciting opportunity that starts March 1.

I'm looking forward to hopefully getting a big work bonus check on Feb 21.

GM!  I love this positive thread!

I look forward to being able to go for long walks outside on the trails again.  AND for it to not get dark at 4pm.

I look forward to May 7th.  That will be the end of Travis's last required class for his doctorate (then I am looking forward to August for him to be done his comps, Dec for the end of his first draft, and March/April for his defense.  I need to look that far ahead because that feels long).

I think I go back to number one most.  Winter limits our options for outdoor activities with the kids (they are still a little young for me to be ok with having out hours on end in freezing weather).  What I love most about living in a 4 season place is I think it makes you appreciate spring/summer even more.

*cussing lik a sailor*

I forgot it was weigh in morning.  MLK day has my days all messed up.

Of course I've already had breakfast and a ginormous cup of coffee.

I didn't need the extra food in my system for weigh in this week, trust me.

I may wait until tonight.

Dumb Jenn, dumb.

I'm looking forward to...

losing weight and looking decent for the first time in 15 years.

buying a bathing suit for and going on our spring break vacation.

getting my surgery, or more to the point, being recovered from the surgery.

 suuuuuuuper early.

I've been up since 5:00.

Apparently a side effect from this diet.

I was on the diet site the other day and people were saying the same thing.

I guess you need less sleep.

Although I am going to bed a bit earlier these days.

do you mind if i ask about the diet?

i'm considering going to the doctor and looking into some kind of supervised weight loss plan. i'm failing miserably on my own. :bag:

So I spent 3 entire days getting our toy situation under control.

It wasn't really the amount of toys, it was the organizing and putting game pieces together that was so time consuming.

Oh and having to stop and play tea party and doctor and babies with Sarah every 5 minutes.

It's like Christmas again for her with the toys she hasn't seen in 9 months or so.

I just need to tackle the closet that has our board games today and I'm done.

5 large outdoor garbage bags full of trash from their bedrooms and the playroom.

I heart purging!!

I just heard the saddest news.

one of my clients who was due in March lost her baby yesterday. :(

She was the 3rd of the group to have her baby so I think it will be extra hard.

My heart is breaking. :(
