Their friend, Clinton Rabb, was on a volunteer mission when the tragedy struck. Two days ago, everyone was overjoyed to see that he was alive - they saw by the attached msnbc video (around 45 second mark) - he was trapped when his hotel collapsed. they had to amputate a leg, and he was airlifted to Florida.
Please pray for Clinton's family. As well for my mother - he is overcome with grief at his passing, and as she is dealing with the death of my grandma at Thanksgiving, she is really struggling at the moment.
Megan, I am so sorry. It's strange how much more real a tragedy becomes when you personally know someone affected. Many thoughts and prayers out to you.
