38 weeks aka "get this thing outta me, i'm done!"

*sigh*

15 days to go.  i feel like a beached whale.  i am fed up.  i cant bend down anymore. i get winded walking up stairs. braxton hicks are driving me crazy.  and do i even need to mention "excess vaginal moisture"  and the lovely vaginal swelling.

i thought i would cherish every minute of my absolutely (i swear!) last pregnancy.

nope.  i am done!

(and to top it all off, i found a very old bottle of perfume cleaning out my cupboards and apparently it has given me a damn huge allergic reaction - first all over my chest, now spreading all over my back, tummy, legs... second visit to the docs and i am now on cortisone for some relief.)

here is a 38 week pic.  probably the last one i will be courageous enough to post!

I totally hear ya on that end of the road feeling. I am LMAO on the extra moisture. I had it awful with #2 and hated it.

You are almost home, sweet ,home.

I cannot wait to find out the details and meet your newest addition to the family.

Sorry mama. Your almost there, it's going to be amazing!

I wonder about the rash... any chance it's that pregnancy induced rash pup? I think thats what it's called. I really hope it's not that, some of my friends have had it and it's awful and doesn't usually go away until after birth. It usually comes late in pregnancy.

So close now Megan! Your little one will be here ANY day now. : ) I know its hard to wait and dealing with all this being winded poop sucks big time. I can't wait to hear your big news about your sweet baby!! Hang in there girl....(isn't it funny how they kept thinking you were going to go into labor early and now here you are 38 weeks...YOU MADE IT!!!!) Yay!!!

interesting - i just googled it, and it really does not look like what i have - mine started on 3 places - right and left shoulder and middle chest - the exact 3 places i squirt myself with the perfume.  it gradually spread to my back, then up to my upper back under my bra, and now is on my calve muscles.

it has a different appearance than pupps (which OMG looks horrific!), and most of the pictures show it on the belly area whereas, strangely enough, i have not seen any of my rash.  its on on my sides, but not at all on my bump itself.

that said, when i see my gyneo on wednesday i will ask her about it!

I had wondered about the pupps as well.

You look amazing!! I know you do not feel that way but really you do.

You are at the very tail end only a couple more weeks, max!!!

I'm sorry you are miserable (I remember feeling the exact same with Kate at the end!!). S/he will be here very very soon though-and I can hardly wait!!!!

You're almost there!!!!!  It really could be any day now!

I forgot about these last few weeks too and the "get this thing outta me" feeling just started kicking in yesterday for me.  And I'm LMAO about the moisture... I had the same thought this morning! 

Hoping things ease up a bit for you and you are able to enjoy these last couple weeks of being pregnant a bit more! **hugs**

Wow Megan you look fantastic.

It's so hard those last few months but the last few weeks tend to seem like an eternity.

I can't wait until we see your post sharing it's time and then waiting with anticipation to find out boy or girl!  It won't be long - hang in there!
