Good morning!

Too tired to think of a question today.

Talk about whatever you want. :)

I'm experiencing a strange feeling today.

Pride in my company.

Almost unheard of.

Here is what they are doing for Haiti:

making an immediate cash donation of $25,000 to the Canadian Red Cross Haiti Earthquake Fund. The Canadian Red Cross is supporting emergency efforts in Haiti by providing evacuation support, first aid, emergency shelter and clean water. In addition to this cash donation we are also offering donations in kind in the form of communications products and services.

We have put satellite phones on the Navy ships traveling to Haiti
Bell Aliant Pioneers are on standby to operate a temporary contact centre for the Red Cross

Long distance calling cards have been supplied free of charge to Haitian students studying at Université de Moncton

Priority messaging has been placed on bellaliant.net providing a direct link to the Red Cross for donations.

Good morning!

Sonya, what your company is doing is amazing. Imagine how great it would be if all large companies gave that much of themselves.

It's no wonder you are feeling that bizarre sense smile

That is so great, Sonya. It really makes me happy and reminds me that no matter the issues in life, people are good.

We are raising money here too at that school on a different level. The classrooms are all collecting. It is hard to explain to young children, but they know they are helping other kids.

I'm having a good morning thus far.

Made a great breakfast for myself, finished the dishes, and am currently looking for a healthy cupcake recipe for a party we are going to tonight.

We haven't gone out with friends in a loooooong time (last winter with Sara and Dan), so I'm a little nervous.

It's like a first date, except it's with spouses and kids, and we are going to their house for chili. Hopefully their will be no first kisses, either.

I am kind of struggling in how to talk to the girls about all of this. The pictures are horrible, so I don't really want them to see that, and Dani seemed afraid that their could be earthquakes like that here.

I had her help me send the donation (just the text message on George's and mine phones), but I wish their was another way she could contribute.

I wonder if her school is doing anything?

Thanks. I am feeling some guilt, like I'm cheating or something.

Don't worry, I'll try hard not to have too much fun (I'm super socially awkward, so I don't that will be a problem).

Crapsandwich!

I just realized I forgot to put some papers in Danielle's bag for a fieldtrip.

I had them on the fridge to sign so I wouldn't forget, and their they hang. D'oh!

So much for not leaving the house until tonight.

i am thinking about school again.

i need some sort of career.

i just wish i had a passion for something so i would have a clear path in front of me.

i think it's past time to think about what i want to do and start thinking about what will work for my family and earn me the most money.

i don't want to do health care though. i've had enough with everything with mikey.

i want to do something where i work mostly alone - i'm totally not a great "team" employee. and i want to do something with numbers i think. i haven't taken math in a zillion years but i have a great memory for numbers and i love that there is a single right answer to a math problem.

so any ideas for me?

oh, and i'd prefer something i can do with a 2 year degree?

i think that the statute of limitations has expired on cheating. i believe it's something like this: if it's been 6 months or more since your (so called) friend has not made time to come see your new home you are allowed to make new friends to replace her (as she is obviously a shitty friend).

Morning all!

Sonya it's awesome what you're company is doing!

Can someone please dig me out under this mountain of laundry. I'm such a terrible housekeeper. Plus, Mark has only been home a little over 48 hours in the past two weeks, so being alone seems to make me lazier.

Today I'll have 4 extra kids too, so I have no desire for a toy pick-up now when I know they'll only tear it apart.

Oh, come now. I have also not made the trip down to see you guys (and I miss those kiddos). Juliette still asks if we can over to see Mikey and Carrie.

So no, you aren't a shitty friend.

Morning girls!

Looooong night over here. Bryson was up all night. Croup maybe? I'm so not sure. He's up and playing and ate his breakfast. I'm so over the sickness I don't even know what else to say about it. Whatever is wrong is worse when he lays down for nap or bed. Doesn't seem textbook croup to me but he's somewhat barky and has congestion with a yucky cough. Might be making a trip to a new ped today.

Sara how is Keegan? Did he sleep better last night?

Ok, I found a recipe. It's the polar opposite of healthy, but they are delicious and beautiful, which I think is more important for a gathering with friends.

It requires 6 sticks of butter between the cupcakes and frosting.

At least they will be beautiful- I'll post pics when they're done.
