I think I posted about Cassidy a looong time ago. She was born in March 2000, and I participate in a message board of March 2000 moms. She was diagnosed with a rare liver cancer 2 years ago.

She died yesterday at age 9.

Please keep her family in your prayers.

Hepatocellular Carcinoma. HCC is a very rare pediatric tumor. Primary hepatic tumors as a whole represent about 1-1.5% of all pediatric neoplasm with an incidence of 1.5 cases per million children aged less than 15 years.

It just doesn't seem right to hear about a child dying.  I will pray for her family.  So so sad.
