You know, I despised her on the show but became a Kate fan when Jon become such a dumb ass. If she feels it is a new start, good for her (though I am banking on some major airbrushing... barely looks like her).
I think the extensions look fake but if she grew her real hair out, I think she would look really good. Now I can picture her with long hair. Before I couldnt. I agree with Jen that I think they totally airbrushed her and all. A little too overdone IMO. I am still team Kate =) If this makes her feel better, let it be.
It just looks fake. I think she'd look good with her own long hair though. This is mean, but it bugs me that she never had both her eyes the same amount of open in pics.
It's such a change that I had to look at it a few times to let it sink in, lol. I don't hate it - I think she'd look good with her own hair long. She looks younger, and I can totally understand the change, as I am the type that changes my hair whenever something major happens, and she certainly couldn't go any shorter, in the back anyways, lol.
I agree with everyone-with her own longer hair, I think she would look good, but I think she needs better extensions until her real hair grows in.
I just watched the TLC interview with her that was on demand, and I have to say, I am torn about her. On the one hand, she in naive to think that all of this stuff hasn't (or won't) affect the kids. I mean, even if it isn't a topic of discussion for her kids atm, it will be at some point, kwim? So I think she needs to open her eyes to the potential dangers pursuing another career in the spotlight would bring to her kids.
But then again, she has no husband and 8 kids, and I can see where she is coming from about needing more than the normal job to sustain her family life. And sure, she doesn't HAVE to live in that house on that property, but with their current status, I am sure it provides them some measure of security and peace with all of the media attention. And frankly, it is a crappy time to sell a house, and I'm sure that is the case in PA as well as here. They may very well be in a position where it would hurt them a lot more to sell the house than to hold onto it, especially since it seems Jon has become a complete moron and isn't taking care of his responsibilities.
But as far as the hair, I am very glad she is going for longer now!! I hope they have some additional pics in the magazine-I can't wait to get it in the mail now, lol.
