Mark FINALLY went back to preschool today. It turned out it was NOT a long day today--boo--but we ran errands for the rest of the afternoon while Henry was at school. I worked in the library at Henry's school during preschool.
I looked at Henry's teacher's website yesterday to see his homework (since he stayed home sick yesterday).
On Monday, it said to start thinking about science fair projects. Henry HATES science so I started looking up different projects about zoology. I found some that I knew he'd enjoy so I started making a mental list.
Well today, Henry came home and said that they are doing their science fair projects completely at school; his partner is Chad; and they had decided to microwave a potato than put in on a lamp and plug it in to see if it lights up--or something like that. BUT he said they couldn't do that project because Mrs. P said that they cannot have: balloons, matches, pets, or food in their projects. Also the science fair instructions say: NO erupting volcanoes or solar system models.
I'm thinking zoology projects are out. I may email his teacher to see what she means by "food". One of the projects I found for Henry involved coating one arm/hand with shortening and putting both your arms/hands in a bowl of ice water to see if the shortening helps keep you warm--like blubber on a whale. But if shortening is considered food, that wouldn't work.
I am sitting on the train on the way home from work. Gotta love the iPhone. As for the rest of the MSers, I think we have mostly been in the MSBL folder today.

Most of Jake's "big" projects are done entirely in school, too. And that is just fine with me. He has already done state reports and a report on sharks. 4th grade is definitely more work than 2nd.

Meant to type 3rd. Definitely more work than 2nd, lol.
Robin I think the greasy science project sounds good.
Although I should, I am not doing the biggest loser. So, like Sara said, bring some of it out here.
I am not sure what we are having for dinner or if I am making a real dinner. If I do make it, it will be stuffed shells or something else that will involve the use of an oven. It is so cold here and we are suppose to get a terrible winter storm here tonight. Boo!
Just in case anyone is interested, I put a link to some Valentines Day stuff in Sassy Seasonal. Leah might also like it because there were cupcake ideas.

My schedule tonight is to clean, clean, kids baths and clean. I feel like from here on out I am sooo busy.
Espeically since Raym should start his therapies soon. And that can take up to 8 hours a week with all the different stuff. Its really overwhelming to think k will be going to school and having to deal with her homework drop off and p haickup and rayms stuff. I just need to pray it will all work out.
I am not a fan of winter, but since it is way too cold for my comfort level outside, I figure it might as well snow and cancel everything so I can stay inside. I despise going outside when it is really cold, although I usually do better when I don't stay in the house for more than a day or so.
Of course I would be perfectly happy for a warm front to move in. One way or another things will be warming up for us because we are going to Disney World the last week of January and then driving further south to see my Dad. Sunshine here we come!
15 minutes until I run to drop Braydon off at Faith Formation. Mark is out of town all week so I got lazy and ordered Dominos. I have it set for delivery at 6:10 so hopefully I'm home from picking him up by then.
I now need to find enough change to fill a baby bottle so he can bring it tonight for the women's shelter.
