I know I've been crappy about posting, but it's gotta go somewhere.

They're cutting four jobs at Rob's company within the next week or so. He knows his direct boss is one of them, but nobody knows who the others will be. (He's at the same crappy company as before...looking left and right but it's just not a very friendly market out there right now.)

I'd say he has a 50-75% chance of going down in this round, based on what I know of his employers and the way they've done things before -- he's a supervisor, so the fact that they're cutting his boss means that he'll either get promoted or fired, unless something very strange happens. And they don't want to promote people right now with the company in turmoil as it is.

We so don't need this right now (not that it'd ever be good). We could really use some p/pts that something other than a pink slip comes our way!
