I've seen all of these movies in the past couple months.
I liked them all pretty well although "Did You Hear About the Morgans?" was just kinda cute, nothing special--sort-of TV movie-ish.
"Precious" was an excellent movie but quite depressing in its reality. It's about a girl from the projects who is abused her entire life and has two children by her father. Sad--based on a true story.
"An Education" was EXCELLENT. It only played at our artsy-fartsy movie theater. I enjoyed it very much. It's about a good girl who is studying hard to get into university, then meets a playboy con-artist and falls in love with him. It's set in the 50's or 60's in England.
"The Blind Side" is also EXCELLENT. It's been playing here for several weeks and was still sold out at a couple theaters yesterday. It may be more popular here than other places since it is a true story that happened here. It's about a family that takes in a homeless high school boy.
Mark wants to add something:
[Typing what he is telling me about "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs"]
First the movie was good. And then we got Starbursts. My favorite part of the movie was when we got Starbursts. It rained-ed nothing. Or meatballs! You should go see it.
