Good morning!

What is the longest you've kept a resolution?

GM!

I'm not huge on resolutions, so I am not even sure.  Not long I would guess.

We kept power through the night, woo-hoo!

It seems the storm is over.  Thank goodness.  We need to drive the boys down state to stay with my mom for a few days during training for my job that both Travis and I need to be at.  I was dreading driving in a storm.

We let the kids pick a red box movie for family movie night last night.  They picked Scoobie Doo and something about Vampires.

Not as good as I remember from when I was a kid.

Koda on the other hand is completely enthralled and begging to watch it again.  Not sure I can take it a second time.

I'm glad your storm is over, Jenn. It turned to rain here last night so it isn't too bad. The roads are still gross though. I just drove to Walmart (which was closed - boo) and the roads were messy. The main ones were ok but the sidestreets were slush/snow filled.

morning!  i have never done resolutions - so i have never had to keep them LOL.

i am bored bored bored.

36 weeks now.  trying to rest - not and easy thing for me at all!

cannot wait for back to school tomorrow - 8am to 4pm NO KIDS - bliss!!!

my sickies have turned into a pretty big upper respiratory infection.

the stuffed nose i can live with.

but the hacking not really productive cough is really bothering me.

kinda scared i will cough the baby out. (and tmi the occasional pimp the cough causes freaks me out!)

and of course there are NO cough syrups you can take while preggo that actually work.   apparently vicodin (hydocodone) is the best antitussive a preggo can take - but i cant bring myself to take a narcotic at this point.

gm ladies.

soooo tired today. back to work tomorrow so i HAVE to get to bed early tonight.

i asked matt around the 23rd for just ONE day of getting to sleep in while he got up with the kids. never happened. so pissed.

longest i kept a resolution? lets see...in december of 2007, i saw myself in holiday pictures and nearly barfed. i resolved to lose weight in 2008 and i did - it lasted until june or so of 2009 when i put on 15 pounds.

hoping to stick to it again this year so that i can get back into my clothes. it's amazing how much 15 pounds affects my self-worth.

Do you have a humidifier, Megan? It's made a big difference here.

The kids slept until almost 8 this morning. Absolutely unheard of.

Should make going back to work/daycare tomorrow interesting. We normally leave at 8.

I'm so happy it's back to daycare day tomorrow.

The kids are ready to go (they've been begging to go back all week). I think we could all use the break. I have no idea how SAHMs do it.

Morning!

Many, many years ago I resolved not to make any more resolutions.

I've kept it.

;D

I'd be happier about school starting back tomorrow if I didn't also work tomorrow.

And Mark's preschool doesn't start back until Wednesday so he'll have to go with me for the day.

The late preschool start doesn't make ANY sense since it is supposed to be on the same schedule as our county school system, just like Mother's Day Out (where I work).

But it means that MAYBE they'll have a long day on Wednesday, and that would be nice.

I don't work on Wednesday.

My kids are driving me batty.

Mark didn't go to church the last two Sundays because he was sick.

Today Henry isn't going because he is sick.

I'm taking Mark with me but he is whining, crying, and complaining that he doesn't want to go.

Henry complains on the days when he isn't sick.

When I was a kid, I never complained about going to church.

I just went.

Yesterday when my mom and I were looking for insulated curtains for Mark's room, we found a safari-themed comforter for Henry.

He really liked it!

Also, it goes so well with his room; I am still amazed.

It is Disney--safari adventure--it is khaki with big animal silhouettes on it in different colors--orange, dark brown, bright light blue, and navy.

The blue EXACTLY matches his walls; the dark brown matches his furniture; and the orange matches his door and the bean bag toss board that is currently in his room.

Soo happy with it.

Morning!

I just ordered Carbonite as an off-site backup. (I used the code Rush and it was only $44 for the year, and I expensed it to our buniess). I'm paranoid I'll somehow lose all my pics despite my best efforts. So now I'll always have my pics, songs, and documents safe.

Now I must do the end of the year bookkeeping. Lots of fun. Ugh!! Maybe I can be done by noon, in time to watch the Vikes. Thank goodness it's not prime time.

Muffy--Have your tried honey for your cough? It's supposed to work great.

Good morning!

I don't make NY resolutions.  I guess I like to keep my bad habits. lmao.gif

I should be getting ready.  We are suppose to drop E off at my friends for the day.  Dh and I are suppose to spend the day together.  It's our anniversary.  He's still sleeping and I need a shower.  Why is it that in order to do anything I am the one that has to crack the whip and get everyone moving, even if it's what he said it's what he wanted to do.

So, April, I can totally understand your annoyance with not getting to sleep.

good morning!

i'm getting ready to go shopping all by MYSELF!!

Kenneth's leaving Tuesday, and will be gone for probably over 2 weeks, so I may not get out for awhile.  I may even do something I've never done--catch a movie by myself!!

YAY!

Good morning!

I usually don't make resolutions, so I don't really have an answer for that one.

I'm currently parked on my couch under one of my heated throws. I ended up getting three of them for Christmas (and two travel coffee mugs).

I think I need to expand what I ask for during the holidays.
