Anyone interested?

It will be in Cocktail (a private folder just for Biggest Loser participants) so you will need to be a member but I think other than that, no fees.

We had discussed starting earlier this month but I think we should get serious again in January.

What should the "rules" be? What would you like to do?

I would love to weigh in with you guys and have the support but I'm doing a 800 to 1000 calorie a day medifast diet so that wouldn't be fair to get in on the money pot.

I'm going to be really crabby and need to vent though so if you'll have me I'd love to tag along.

BTW I'm starting Jan. 4th.

I think I would like in on this.

Kristi can you share the specifics of your diet? If you don't mind.

Hmm...are we doing like before where there was a pot to contribute to? I want to participate but I'm not a premium member and can't really afford to do it right now.

I would like to, but it depends on the rules. I basically just want support for weight loss, but not in a competitive way. My flares interfere too much with my working out for me to compete in this arena-I know I will be the slowest in the group on this, which is fine and the only way I can do it and stay healthy, but I also don't really want to start viewing myself as the "failure" of the group, kwim?

But even though my journey will likely be much slower than everyone else's, I do want support and want to be able to offer some as well!!!

So IDK about rules-I don't have any input on it, since I have not participated in the past. You all set the rules for yourselves, and I'll go from there!

It's very similar to how Nutrisystem works.

It's dry food that you order online.

You eat 5 or 6 times a day depending on what calorie intake you want. Your last meal is a lean meat and veggie dish that you buy yourself outside of their food.

I went for a physical and asked my doctor what diet he recommended (I was going to do a liquid diet) and he suggested this instead.

I'll weigh in at his office and he'll check my vitals every 2 weeks.

I have A LOT of weight to lose.

I don't think it's a good diet if you just have 10 or 15 pounds to shed.

Personally, I'm all for no pot. I'd like the accountability and the support.

And I'm broke broke broke!

 Sounds good to me.

No pot, no competition, just accountability and support.

I completely agree!

I'm in too but if it's ok with everyone, will have my first weigh in 2 weeks after I pop this baby out.

I've gained more weight already than I thought was ever possible and still have 6 weeks to go.  I have a feeling I'm going to have a lot more than just water and baby weight to lose this time around!

I am all in and 100% on board. I need to get healthy. I have been carrying this weight for a full year and it is enough. I have back pain and knee pain.

I am sure I will fail, but I need to get right back up and keep trying. I would love a support group and a place to talk about my challenges, ups, downs, etc.

I say this as I sit here eating a bag of chips :)
