Anyone read this?

It was selected as the next book in my office book club and I've just started it.  I had no idea what to expect.  I'm only on chapter 2 but I'm LMAO and I surely did not expect that . .  I cannot for the life of me figure out where it's going yet!

It's been years but I really liked it.

When I read it, it was so different from anything I'd ever read.

I was coming off of my high school reading list phase which was mostly the classics.

it's in my top 3 favorite books ever. i've read it at least 10x, first time iw as like 12.  i ADORE IT.

one of my top faves of all time ever!!!

i as well first read it at about 12, and have read it many times since.

but it has been a while - so i think i am going to go dig it out again!

I actually just recently re-read it after reading it in high school. Definitely a classic. I like it a lot.

one of the best assignments i ever was given was to write a short story in holden's "voice" - i LOVED doing that.

i think i'll try to read it again.

i read it and LOVED it in high school. then i tried reading again several years later and found myself not at all identifying. then i felt old and put the book down. lmao.gif
