mislabeled leapster game - has this happened to anyone else?

so my dad and his wife got emily 2 leapster games for xmas - the enchanted princess one and the finding nemo one.

she begs us to play the princess one, so we plug it in and wait for it to boot up - only to find out it's the SPONGEBOB game on the cartridge.  wtf!?!?!

this happen to anyone else?

i don't let my kids watch SB so i was definitely less than pleased since i will not be letting her play this game (i know, i know, i'm a prude).  leapster will be getting an earful from me in the morning.

Wow-I have not had that happen-that is so odd!!! And more than a little bit frustrating.

And tbh, I don't blame you. We don't allow SB here either, and I would not let my girls play that game. We only watch Disney/Pixar, Nick Jr and the Disney Channel cartoons here. Oh, and the barfy Barbie movies-blech. So, no prude calling from me!!!

Let us know what they say...

wow, no I have never had that happen. That really does stink. I am a anti sponge bob person too. Allie actually does not like SB either.

That stinks. I don't think you are a prude at all. Hananh watched Spongebob some before I really put an eye on it and realized how nasty they are in that show! She is not allowed to watch it anymore and I would not let her play the game either. I hope you get something good from your trouble.

i've been on hold waiting for a representative for for 1 hour and 28 minutes now.

i'm wondering if this was a big problem for xmas???

omg.gif  That is CRAZY!!!!  Anna even got a leapster game for Christmas (Kai Lan), but it was the right thing.

Have you gotten through yet???

got disconnected after 2 hours.

called back and got right through.

i told the rep that it was purchased from amazon a few weeks ago. first, the rep was like, "this game is still under warranty. i'd recommend you take it back to the retailer. um, wtf. how can i do that? and why is it their problem.

so then i was less nice. she put me on hold and came back singing a whole different song, promising to be back with me via email within 24 hours. i got her customer service rep # and will call back tomorrow if i don't hear from her.

Ridiculous.  Seriously.  I hope she follows through...or she will be sorry, that is for sure!!!  I am so sorry you had to waste so much of your day on that.
