this thing is the bomb.
Cloud b Twilight Constellation Night Light
it is a HUGE hit.  totally lights up the whole room with stars - my kids are over the moon. it was awesome too, bc last night after everyone left and things were sorta winding down, we put the ladybugs on and all laid down on our bed and looked at the stars - it was like a brand new gift bc they didnt get what it was going to be like, kwim?
it is awesome. i totally recommend it if you see a good deal.

Agree, both girls have one. I got them for almost 20 piece on Amazon and they wanted 40 in a store here.

They are great gifts.

totally great gifts - i feel like they'll never outgrow it.

$20 is great - i got ripped off at $36 each but i'm not going to worry about it - they're worth it.  GREAT product.

So they turn off after a while, is that right?

Mine don't sleep with nightlights, so would this kind of thing be too much of a distraction at bedtime? I have seen them before, but wonder how it would go at bedtime, kwim?

yes they turn off on their own. i'm not sure how long they stay on really.

R is fine with it for bedtime.  she doesnt get distracted by it - she's not someone who needs nightlights, but she thinks it's fun.

C uses her reading lamp as a nightlight everynight. last night she wanted it on and no ladybug - but tonight she tried the ladybug and fell asleep fine.

seriously they just love to play with them while awake.

Ah-ok.  I can totally see that being very fun when they are awake too!!!  If I spot a good deal on them, I will try it out!!

Ita. After you posted about it before, I picked up one for Hannah. She just got it yesterday, but she loved it, and has given me minimal trouble at bedtime (which may also have something to do with the fact that it's been 4 hours later than normal the last few nights, but I won't split hairs, lol.) I'm 26, and even I think it's pretty rad!

Oh that sounds really cool!  I went and looked on Amazon and they have it on there for $19.99.  I am seriously thinking about it.

Get it. So worth it. You can teach them the constellation also. It is a fun gift. I am thinking of getting a few to give out as birthday gifts for kids and such. I see Amazon has them marked down. They started out at 30 and have come down.

mmm, not a bad idea to stock up on them for bday gifts.  i should make a list of who's coming up.

what i love is how they make stars on the walls AND ceiling - it's like stars everywhere.  of course then R started moving the ladybug around and i had massive vertigo issues, but that's just my own deal - LOL.

by the way i'm in the market now (bc of this) for a disco ball - remember the plastic ones when we were little?? my kids would flip over that.
