No, you're most definitely not the only one.  Unfortunately, I have to do it all over again at the in-laws today.

:sigh

i think i'm going to try to run a few errands BY MYSELF today. yippee! love that.

jake and i both got ON gc from my in-laws. they have women's jeans for $15 and kids' jeans for $10. i'll probably get jake 2 pairs - he's at the limit for getting away with 2T jeans b/c he's too tall :(. and i could use a pair. i also need to get a price adjustment on the jeans i got matt for xmas. it's only $2.70 difference, but since i'm going to be there, i'm going to get the adjustment.

i'm also going to go gymboree. they're doing their red balloon sale and emily got a gc to there from my in-laws. jake also needs underwear and some of theirs are on sale for $1.99. i also have a 20% off Q.

other than that, i just need to put laundry away and straighten up around here. running the vacuum might be nice too.

April, I clicked on your sister's picture, the one with her and the baby by Santa's mailbox.

She doesn't even look like she's had a baby.

I hate her wink

hi guys!!
my house is in relatively good shape, all things considered. my kids are being good about leaving their stuff in one room.
we had 16 people over yesterday. i have some dishes left but nothing major.
christmas was so sweet here - what a wonderful day.
i am SO GLAD i got the american girl dolls- they are in their GLORY.

the kids are sick - they both have fevers - i think we're off to the pedi today :(
i was up a LOT last night. R was in bed with me sniffing and coughing and snorting - i finally snuck up to her bed so i could get some sleep - but cara was coughing up there - so i'm beat.
mike's doign some returns - i want to go out but i have to keep the kids IN.
still havent made it to my grandma's nursing home - i feel TERRIBLE about it.  now i cant bring the kids - i will have to get there later today depending on the timing of the doctor.
soooo tired.

if anyone comes across a set of miniboden applique cat PJs in a size 5 or 6, please let me know! i had gotten R the 4 back in the fall, and they have shrunk/R has grown - they run surprisingly small, considering their other things run big.  let me know! i just checked on ebay and nothing.

Exhausted.

Today I need at least another cup of coffee, and I plan to take down the tree.  I am so over Christmas.  I love it, but everyone went to far overboard (I'm guilty too) that there is just too much stuff.  Seriously, my inlaws brought more than some kids get entirely for Christmas and that was round 2.  My dad sent 7 gifts instead of the normal 1.  You get the idea of how the day went.  Insane.

I'm scrubbing the house today.  and hoping that annoys Travis enough to bring the boys out so I can have some alone time, lol :)

we need to take our tree down too - i think on sunday though. it's totally dying. there are needles everywhere. this tree was beautiful, but caused such issues - it died too early, was not absorbing water, and the lights kept dying. we have replaced the lights SEVERAL times.

as soon as gifts were over yesterday, mike goes to my BILs, "ok guys lets get this tree out" - LOL. i think that should be incorporated into the day somehow.

Morning, everyone!

I had big plans to get up early and go shopping this morning.

But when I went to bed last night, I was feeling pretty sick to my stomach--so I talked myself out of needing anything that was on sale today and turned off the alarm.

Glad I did. Slept until 8.

I also decided that the stuff I need (wrapping paper, frames) would go on the same or better sale in the next few days.

And I thought I'd look and see if the B1G1Free deals on Leapster games and V-Smile games was online as well.

Henry asked if we could wait until the weekend AFTER New Year's to take down our Christmas decorations.

I'm not sure if Glen can wait that long.

Today is the first anniversary of when we brought Holly home.

Tru dat!

I'm cleaning today.

My friend is in town and I almost had her come over today.

That would have been dumb.
