I didn't read the article but I hope they also have to pay back all the costs of the time and effort that was put into that crazy day.
Oh and while they're at it, he should have to pay all of the families of the murder victims and assault victims that had to wait too long for the police to get to them because they were to busy chasing an empty balloon.

and pay the farmers whose crop he ruined when the baloon landed and all the rescue vehicles road across the planted field.

I feel so sorry for those boys They can't help it that their parents are IDIOTS!

yes, i feel sorry as well that they have idiots for parents.
but i see this as something positive for the boys - they witnessed something bad firsthand - their parents did something bad and wrong - and now they see that is is NOT good to do stuff like that. 20 and 90 days is not a huge amount of time - the boys will probably not be scarred from their parents short absence - but fingers crossed those boys realise it is important to be HONEST and that if they do wrong things there is a price to pay - kwim?

i know exactly what you mean, and i agree. hoping they, the parents and the boys, learn a lesson, but especially the IDIOT parents.
