I had a babysitter this morning. Yay!!! I really asked her to come here so I could go to my parents' house and put a second coat of paint on something in Santa's workshop. I hired her for 2 hours, and painting took about 10 minutes. :D

So I went shopping!

At first, I planned to go to Children's Place in the mall because I wanted another sweater vest for Mark. And I had a coupon. But after I was near the mall, I looked at the coupon more closely and it expired on December 6th. Scratch that trip.

I needed some foil pans for baking so I went to WM and got those. I parked by the garden center and went in that door. Not much more crowded than any other day in the middle of the day. I got the foil pans, looked for bouncy balls--the one thing I still needed--and of course ended up with a new pair of jeans for myself and some sweatpants for Henry.

Next I was going to go to Hobby Lobby to get the bouncy balls because I thought I got them there for a prize in Henry's class. Then I remembered they came from Target so I changed direction and went there. That place was a MADHOUSE--almost no parking spots, people everywhere. CRAZY. It is really close to WM but it was 10 times more crowded. Yikes.

I did get the bouncy balls. I also found a Star Wars shirt for my nephew, and I got some candy at the checkout--for me, the kids, and the babysitter.

I hope I'm done. I did forget to look for frames. Oops.

I've been out just about every day and the crowds haven't been too bad. I hit Target last night and got some awesome deals! Bakuspheres on sale from $24.99 to $15 LPS playsets for $8.99 and the glitter lava art sets that I had gotten my nieces had been clearanced from 19.99 to $9.98 so I got a price adjustment on those! I hit last minute ordering on Amazon yesterday and was super pleased! I got an LPS carry case for $9.99, the singing Elmo kitchen set that I had just paid $17.97 for at wm for Mr. B for 7.99 so I took that back last night too! I got back almost $30 on my price adjustments. People have been pretty decent so far too.

I'll let you know in a few hours.

My in-laws just took Colin for the night!

My heart is pounding. I've never done this before. He's never gone with Grandma and Grandpa for a sleep over. He's never done a traditional sleep over...He had to sleep over with a friend when I was in the hospital. Does that count? But wow. Okay- breathe.

We're headed out with Addy to finish up the rest of our shopping and pay the last bit of our rent since we do it weekly. Easier on the wallet. And its just means we have an excuse to get out of the house. Praying we don't get stuck in the drive way!!

I was out today. A bit for me and some errands for my MIL.

It wasn't too bad. I was early at the book store - no body there at all. Then I hit the mall - around 930ish and it was great. Not much crowd at all.

I think when Christmas is on a friday, it really spreads the craziness out. It was good shopping. I didn't wait more than 2 minutes in any line up.

I got some great deals - I needed a clock for my mom - one with picture frames around a clock. It was $30 and I got it for half price - it wasn't marked but that is what happened when they rang it in. Score!

I just need one more gift for my nephew and i'm done. (I hope).

I did some shopping yesterday.  Not for Christmas stuff since I've had that done for a month.  3 of my kids had very sudden growth spurts and grew out of pajamas so I needed to buy a lot of those.  I also needed to get more bananas and some paper for a church lesson in a couple weeks.  Walmart wasn't too busy.  Not much more than usual anyway.  I even got out of there faster than I normally do because they were being more efficient than normal.  I don't plan on going out again until Saturday.  I wish I had a Target here.  I'm not willing to drive 2 hours to the nearest one over a mountain pass.

Honestly?  The stores were kind of dead tonight.  We are expecting a little snow, so maybe that had something to do with it.  or maybe people are finally shoped out?  I finally found socks for the boys though after striking out at two walmarts.

I have one more stretch of stops on Christmas Eve to make (quick gift card types of stops).  So close to done!!

(our Walmart is open until 8pm on Christmas Eve...those poor workers!  I think if you don't have your crap together by dinner on Christmas Eve tough cookies.)

I had to run to the mall tonight for an outfit for me and it was not bad at all. Either everyone shopped early or online. We found a good parking spot too.

I wish I had tons of extra cash. There are great sales on clothes right now. I need new clothes.

I was in both of my local Wal-Marts tonight and really the same as the rest of you, pretty mellow. It was only 730ish. I do think tomorrow and Thursday might be a little crazy.

I went to both Target, and wal-mart last night around 9:00. they were both dead. I was talking to the guy at customer service(had to exchange something) and he said that it's been pretty dead after 9:30 in there every night, and they stay open until 12:00.

I did make a stop at the grocery store and they were pretty busy. I guess they weren't that busy, but they only had 3 registers open, so the lines were kind of long!

Ok definately quite a bit crazier out there today! Very busy at the mall and WM was a ZOO! However people were being nice and the check out lines moved relatively fast. I "think" i'm done.
