ok so here's the cat. rachel just found it under my bed - UG!!! but she is OVER THE MOON. she's running all over the house with it, saying that she's going to sleep with it and carry it around every single day.
i'm glad she found it before christmas, bc it is making a huge impact right now, and it was never intended as a santa gift anyway.
i'm still working on the dress and the bow and the whiskers, and intend to tuck in all frayed ends. i am so happy she lvoes it. now to make cara's.
So cute!!! I can see why she loves it. Elizabeth would be over the moon for it too. You did a fantastic job. Did you buy a pattern for it? Now you are stirring up the Martha Stewart in me.

no, i found the pattern free online.
there are plenty of free patterns - i wouldnt buy anything. and once you know how to do one, you can fudge any variations. i'm making a doll for cara, not an animal (unless she has a special request).
I love it, Kelly! You did a great job (how long did it take?) oh god...i am now reading further...the dress is so adorable!!
it took a while. since jennie and i were talking about them last time :)
but i didnt do it consistently. i had a ton of school work to do also so i didnt get to work on it as much as i would have liked to. i am hoping to plow thorugh cara's by friday.
