I have sooooo much to do today. I was sick all weekend, so everything is piled up and horrible.
I have no idea what we are having for Christmas. We usually have country fried venison and ham (the venison is my very favorite) but Idk if my brother's bagged a deer yet. I am making pomegrante guacamole, which idk if it will taste good, but it's awfully pretty!
Christmas Eve is always a traditional Polish meal. No meat and perogi, fish, mac and cheese and then normal side dishes.
We also do a whiskey shot and all say something we are happy for. I do not know if that is polish or just my family, lol.
Christmas Day is typical ham and all the sides.
I think my favorite is the cheese perogi. I never eat them all year because they are so fattening. We are making 200 of them this Sunday and we all take some home and then make the rest for Christmas. They are yummy!

I'm having perogi's for lunch. I love them, although mine are frozen, and I've never had homemade.
We aren't polish, but I think we need to adopt the whiskey shot drinking, lol.
I am not doing anything special. Im hoping well actually go out to eat. I already want to take my tree down. Since we already did a huge christmas with my family Im pretty much done.
I don't know the entire menu but we are having lamb and some type of Italian pasta dish (probably stuffed pasta of some sort or cheese lasagna). My ds requested the lamb. The rest of the menu is still not figured out.
For Christmas Eve, we usually do something rather informal and light like appetizers and pizza. I have to say I find appetizers pretty yummy so it's a toss up between that and the pasta for my favorite.
Melissa I perogies! That sounds like a fantastic meal.
Leah, I hope you are feeling better today. We are all run down here and right now my energy is zero. Like you, I too have so much to do. Getting behind sucks!

Tracy where do you think you will go eat?
We do appetizers on Christmas Eve as well, and usually my aunt will cook taco soup.

you MUST try homemade ones. They are a million times better then the frozen Mrs. T kind.

I think I might have to do that too. But um...This year I don't think I could stop at one shot. LOL
