I need a new digital camera. Well, I don't *need* it, but I want it. After much searching and talking to MS peeps about it, Mally directed me to a website. I found one I liked, it had free 2 day shipping, no sales tax and was a great price, so I put it in my cart.
It's been there over a week...
Why can't I just click the "purchase now" button???
I am the same way. Well, I do not just order something over a 100 without thinking about it or if I really need it, etc.
The Canon Rebel xsi..$569...
Kenneth has told me a gazillion times to order it.. He just said last night, "You're gonna fool around and not have a camera to take pics of Kenley's first Christmas"
But I DO have a camera, my canon rebel 35 mm, I just want a digital, lol
I do the same thing Jenn. I have a hard time spending that much money on something that I know is mostly something I am gong to use and want. On the other hand, I say if Big Daddy is fine with it, do it! The longer you go without it, the more opportunities you will miss. It's not like you get a second chance to watch your babies grow up.

That's the one I have! You should totally get it. :D FWIW, when John bought mine a year and a half ago (for our 10th wedding anniversary <3), it was $800. He bought it from Amazon, and a couple of weeks later the priced dropped to $700, so they refunded the difference!
One of the great things about a digital SLR is that instead of buying a new camera to get better pictures, you can always add on with lenses and filters and other stuff that's like a foreign language to me, LOL. I just found an external flash that John had for years with his Canon 35mm that we haven't used in forever, and it fits my Rebel! So that opens up a whole world of possibilities once I can figure out how to use it without overexposing everything, LMAO.
