Thought of you today as I was applying my BE lotion... it has parabens.

I've used Kiehls on and off for years. I am a fan (just not of the $$$)...

really? but i thought BE is totally paraben free? it's not? neither is arbonne actually. i talked to my cousin. she sent me all the ingredients. p,lenty of their products have parabens, but in very low concentrations (lower than you find in other brands) - so that's good, but...

i just bought kiehls moisturizer (i love it too) but it has parabens also. i got the cucumber (thank god i just got a small - i got it before i was aware of all of this stuff) - it has methylparaben & propylparaben.
i am VERY hard pressed to find a lotion that is paraben free, except burts. i am placing an awful lot of trust in burts without doing further research beyond parabens, i have to admit, so i hope it's deserving of my trust.

i also LOVE LOVE LOVE kiehls lip balm - the one that's $6.50 - i literally JUST bought a tube of that 2 wks ago. it has propylparaben and butylparaben. wahhhhh. i'm using it anyway for now, but....i'm not totally comfortable about it.

i'll tell you what's a tough one is the eyeshadows. i'm glad this organicwear line makes a decent eye shadow. i mean it's NOTHING special, but gives some coverage, and that's fine for me, until i can go and really investigate josie maran's line (which i think, ultimately, might be the way i go with all of this). everything else in my makeup bag eyeshadow-wise goes. i should have always been more careful about eye makeup given my eye issues. sigh.

josie maran mascara is paraben free. i have to get to sephora. this organicwear is OK but nothing special.
i need a blush and mascara, and that's it - might be worth it to just order online (but iknow if i go in person i'll end up with other products too which might be fun...)

All I use from BE is the bare minerals kit. The skin rev-er upper that came with that does have them in it (albeit the last two ingredients)
