walgreens coupon help please

I need to buy some candy to make favor bags for a party sunday.  I know right now if I spend $25 I get RR at Walgreens.  Is this off the sale or the regular price?

Also there are bags of Hershey candy on sale for 2/$5 then you get a $1 RR.

I have one each of the following coupons:

Save a dollar when you buy 2 Hershey bags (can be kisses or other type)

Buy 3 get one free hershey kisses only

So what's the best way to do this?  Are there any other coupons that are readily available that I can use with them, or since these are from the sunday paper insert, can no other coupons be used with it?

Since I need quite a bit (30 favor bags full) I am trying to stretch my money.

TIA for the help.smile

it should be off the sale price, but the total prior to redeeming any coupons. you will get a $5 rr to be used on your next order.

at walgreen's the rr's don't double up...so, unfortunately you can't buy say 20 bags of candy at 2/5 and get $10 in $1 rr's. the catalina machine will only produce one rr per deal per transaction.

the best thing would be if you could get multiple inserts...do you know anyone who doesn't use their coupons? also, the free bag of kisses should count towards the $25 total.

edited b/c i didn't read your q's right and totally screwed my math up. my kids are being terrors!

crap. i read your free kisses q's as being get one free when you buy 2. my kids are raising holy heck over here. you would obviously need more bags if it is buy 3 get 1.

okay, here we go again...

if you had more of those $1 q's and more of the free kisses q's you could do something like:

buy 12 bags at 2.50=30

subtract 4 $1/2 q's, which would cover the first 8 bags you bought

total now= $26

subtract 3 q's for free kisses= -$7.50

total now= $ 18.50 oop

then get $1 rr for the hershey's deal and another $5 rr for the holiday deal

technically, oop = $12.50 for 12 bags of kisses, so what's that--like 1.04/bag?

jeez--my mental math is sucking today--mamacita needs a calculator for xmas!!

the only way for you to maximize the hershey's rr's would be to only buy 2 bags per transaction. but then your total wouldn't add up to $25 so you wouldn't get the $5.

Thank you so much Corey!  I will try to get my hands on some more coupons.  I think I might need to sit down and see if there are some other things I need from there and then maybe it would help.  I think you should do this for a living.  People would probably gladly pay you a big cut of what they save just to have you do it for you.
