I honestly hadn't even thought of a gift for Kodas PreK (major blush. In my defense, I put in a heck of a lot of work trying to save the dang place from the budget ax).
There is a director who Koda adores, a teacher who is there- not adored- but has helped run the program for over 20 years, and a BUNCH of college students. These students are work study, or are there as part of the lab component of their psychology coursework. Their numbers eb and flow depending on where we are at in the semester. The work studies are a pretty constant, the lab students not as much (but honestly, they are hard to tell a part). I don't know most of their names to be honest.
What do I do for holiday gifts? Shoot...why didn't I even think of this sooner. Last day of school is tomorrow. Would it be mean to just get something for the director and teacher and leave it in their office (the door to their office is through a seperate coat room, so the college students wouldn't really know). Do you think other parents are going to get stuff for all these college students too?
I'd probably make a tray of cookies, fudge, or something like that, and just toss it in the kitchen or office for everyone, with a note that says you appreciate them. It's simple and covers everyone. (Although, ftr, I think you could just do the gift in the office for the two, an be fine, too.)

I'll just say ditto because I was going to say exactly that!
I changed plans and got finals study snacks for the student teachers, and a DD gift card in a tiny lunch box for the adult-teachers. While not my original plan, I think it will turn out cute.

ok, after my pms induced rant yesterday, they actually looked really cute and I added a little note tag to all the student teacher bags along the lines of Thank you for teaching me to (insert a bunch of stuff).
Koda was so proud to begin handing them out this morning that I feel stupid for having ranted at all. He was till grinning ear to ear when I left.
