did a measuring u/s, baby measures spot on if not a wee bit big - weight estimated at 1.95 kilos (4.25 pounds). and a good level of amneotic fluid around baby. the doc hasn't done a belly tape measure as she thinks those are usually unreliable. she estimates the baby could be around 7.5 pounds at delivery, but we all know these estimates are unreliable so i guess it doesn't matter so much.
i did not gain any weight the past 3 weeks - holding steady at 12 pounds for the pregnancy. she said that is just fine i should not worry (though i might indulge in more chocolate treats here and there - hee hee)
i had a rhogam shot as i am neg and dh is pos.
i did have cloudy urine, so she sent it to the lab to see if i have a urinary infection - will find out in a few days.
that's pretty much it!

Re the 12 pounds - i am shocked. i asked her if her scale is broken lol. not that i feel like i gained weight, it's just that i only gained 300grams in the past 2 visits - the past 6 weeks! and this is the third trim when there is a lot of baby growth.
i am just really busy - and not so into food. i eat when i cook for the kids - but m-w-f when the kids are not home for lunch, i find it gets to be around 3pm and i hadn't eaten lunch or anything - strange! and no snacking. at all. i have no junk food in the house as we don't eat really any processed food at home.
my doc asked me if i was trying not to eat and really - not at all! perhaps in january after christmas when i plan to be a lady of leisure and lounge around watching tv all day long i will gain more LOL!
last 2 weeks - painted the 2 big kids rooms, totally redecorated them - put together tons of ikea furniture for tims room - crazy energy, feeling great and at night i collapse into bed without any snacking or chocolate. plus all the running around getting ready for christmas - CRAZY! but i love feeling great and i hope i can feel this way through christmas!
when i am out shopping, i usually stop at mcdonalds like twice a week - but instead of a quarter pounder meal its a kids meal with a cheeseburger and i am more than full.
but hey, i will take it because usually when i breastfeed i put on a lot of weight - i am always so hungry and without a baby in the tummy there is plenty of space to stuff my belly full!
the important thing is that the baby is healthy and doc says this one will probably be a bit bigger than clara who was a bit over 7lbs at birth.
You look fantastic Meg! I am jealous at your weight gain of only 12lbs, YGG! So glad the baby is growing right on track. You are right around the corner!! Can't believe your sweet baby will be here soon! : )
