i have a pair of gap play pants for Josie (the cotton/spandex yoga pants). I've washed them a number of times and they still smell bad. I don't have a dryer right now and use a dryer rack. They smell like an old towel but nothing else in the same wash smells bad. I've tried hand washing them in dish detergent (lemon) which normally stripps the smell out - no luck.
christmas shopping - 95% finished? just found out my bro, sil and thor are coming to lux for christmas - so i want to get thor a few additional "santa" presents so he has the same quantity as my 3 kids on christmas morning.
putting finishing touches on a massive 74 page scrapbook project - it's for my FIL's 70th birthday party on saturday - mil is having a HUGE party in strasbourg (think wedding reception in grandeur... *eyeroll*) the scrapbook captures all "events" with my inlaws and the kids since timmy's birth in 1996 - all birthdays, christenings, communions, easters, christmases, ski vacations, summer vacations... whew!
trying to stuff it all in one big 12x12 album - so i had to remove some of the more textured/puffy stickers, ribbons and such to make the pages flatter... *sigh*
For the first time ever I am rocking the christmas thing My out of town presents are purchased, wrapped and MAILED OUT already!!!!!! (I can't explain how excited I am about this since last year's presents were never mailed)
My local present shopping is almost done. I have to get something for my mom, my sister and one nephew (I got him something he already has so I want to exchange it).
I'm going to get one more thing for Ben & Mike - but other than that I just need stocking stuff
Technically, NONE! Yet it is really hard for me to stop looking. I know the crazy deals come out in the next week, and it is so hard not to drop money!
That said, a lot of the things I bought last year on crazy sale as extras under the tree were never their favorites. I am trying (HARD) to remind myself that just because it is an amazing deal doesn't make the boys magically love it. They really are good.
Ooohh... I lie. I need to get the lame gift that my family always got every year. At least one box was underwear and sox. Every. year. Now I understand it is because by this time of year we needed them. At the time I thought they were just trying to be funny, lol. AND I am buying new pajamas as a surprise for the polar express ride.
So, two pajama sets, socks and underwear. Not as fun as crazy toy deals ;)
My shopping is almost done. It was pretty limited this year, but I do need to get our grabbag gift. it's super lame.
DH pulled his cousin's name for grabbag. Both of them asked for a Best Buy gift card. So come Christmas day, they will be swapping Best Buy gift cards. Men are so dense sometimes, I swear!
I just finished getting the jammies, and we scored a couple of cute playmobil stocking stuffers the other day, so I think i'm about done. I wanted to grab something small for each of my sisters, but that will have to wait for the next paycheck.

Any ideas? I can't bleach them - they are brown.
I would suggest soaking them in hot water with vinegar.
Were they wet for a long time? Just wondering how they got moldy.
Usually vinegar works. I also use Odo-Ban for moldy towels; works like a dream!

i cant remember how they got wet (if they were). Maybe peed on? I don't know.
I think they've been washed 3 times now. it's totally bizarre. Nothing else smells like them.
Today is major cleaning day and NEW T.V. DAY! :) The one in our bedroom is dying. The color tube is going and the t.v. is older than I am. The t.v. in the living room is going. It isn't even our's. The color tube on it is going. There is no remote for it anyway. So, new t.v. day! We found a great deal on an LCD flat screen @ Target. All I have to do is bust butt and get the housework in good order.
Colin's XMas shopping is all done. And the T.V. is a family gift from DH and I to all of us.
And I LOVED the dentist, Kelly! He was awesome! Super gentle and very sweet. All in all it wasn't as bad as it could have been but not great either. I need 12 fillings which for never having been to the dentist isn't bad! Most of it isn't even bad, he said. Just where I didn't floss. And he said the cavities aren't even that bad. :bag: The wisdom teeth have to go. There isn't any room in my mouth for them let alone for him to get in and fill them so he said the best option is to have them removed. I'm waiting for the call on when that is going to take place. I had my first cleaning yesterday! It was painful b/c there was 20 some odd years of junk to clean off. And I had tears, yes. But it hurt like Hades!! But once she was done I couldn't stop checking myself out. I go back in June for another cleaning. I can't wait to see how clean those teeth are then!! Woohoo!! I'm stoked!!! I can't wait for my fillings! Those are going to take 4 appts. He's doing it a little at a time- the top right, then the bottom right, then the top left, then the bottom left. I miss counted and thought I needed 29 fillings and he was like, "No! That's the same view on each tooth! You only need 12." Whew.
