on one of my couponing forums, i saw a reference to these soda bottle gift packages.

i think they are adorable and will definitely be trying this!

(we don't normally buy 2 liters of soda, so i'll have to ask around at school!)

That is so cute. We are totally doing that for the end of the year! (I already wrapped the christmas present.) What a great idea.

I made this tonight for Hannah's teacher and I LOVE it! I stuffed it with all kinds of goodies, made my own label with pretty glittery red paper and stickers and I think it's awesome! I put monogrammed magnetic bookmarks and a notepad, anti back hand soap and gel from b&bw, a mistletoe scented yankee candle, a little teacher magnet, and peppermint bark in it. I'm so excited to give it to her!

I think I may do this too.  Usually someone collects money to give a class gift, but no one did this year.

I had bought them each a big Yankee Candle jar just as an extra thank you because Meghan gets dropped off a little early every day.  Now I have to figure out how to incorporate that into a larger gift.  This may be the perfect thing!  I just have to make sure a large jar candle would fit in there and be easy enough to take out.

The candle doesn't even come close to fitting.  Boo!

I did buy small jars for stocking stuffers for my family so I may need to juggle things around a bit so I can still do this.  It's such a cute idea!

We did this today, too. I ADORE how they came out.

In the ones we made we put packets of flavored cocoa, body wash and lotion in yummy scents (peppermint cookie for one teacher, red velvet cake for the other), puffy loofah balls, a coffee cup, candy cane, some of Chickie's pretzels, and I think that's it. The coffee cup took serious maneuvering, but it they came out SO adorable, and I made them for about $4, which is WAY less than I usually spend, so that's great.

Bummer! Would it fit if you cut the slit like a big U instead of a C? I'm just thinking it might be easier to squeeze in, but idk.
