I am tossing around the idea of getting Rich a beer of the month club. Has anyone used one? Recommendations?
Kristi gave me another idea of putting together a 12 pack of beers from around the world. I may do that if I cannot find a good club. I hate to just pick one at random and not know what they are like.
I looked into it, but couldn't find a company I felt great about.
Last year Maxim magazine posted a list of 99 Beers to Try... i clipped it and at least once a month, I get a beer of the list, package it up, and leave it for Joe to try. It's my at-home-beer-of-the-month club, lol.

i like this idea way better. the clubs seem like such a ripoff in so many ways.
Grant (he's a beer snob- no domestics, all imports) here has spent quite a bit of time overseas when he was in the Navy and he's spent his fair share of time drinking beer from all over. Depending on your husband's taste I bet we could compile a great selection of brew.
ETA- He said to tell you that he was a sailor in the US Navy so of course he spent a lot of time drinking beer if you'd like some help!! :) Two things he knows well are beer and cigars.

yeah, after looking at a bunch I totally agree. For what they charge I can get some killer beers for Rich. I am going to put it together and do the each month thing.
