I saw this on another board and thought it was interesting.  I also am making a thread to share our worst year.

I have to think on this....I am really stuggling lately. :(

I've got to say, this last half of 2009 has been pretty great. Lots of stress but the kids are a lot of fun, we love living in the apartment, overall things are pretty good.

I've had lots of great years. It's hard to pick. I'm very very blessed.

I'd have to say that the most fun, carefree time in my life was sophomore/junior year of high school.

I also loved being 24. I moved to Chicago, got an apartment by myself, loved being in the big city and taking the train to work everyday.

I also met my husband that year. Super fun year!

Probably 2005.

Joe's job was going well... we had Hannah... and there was just this newness to everything. Everything was exciting and awesome, and I was just loving life. We weren't all bitter about our house, ttc, Joe's job, or just in our moods in general.

I've having a crappy week, so this is a bad time to ask, lmao.

Probably 2000-2001.  My first year of grad school, super confident, met Travis, still had that athletic body and knew it.  My first apartment.  Yeah, that was a good year.

Probably 1998.  I got engaged and then married.  We got our first apartment alone together, and it was really the beginning of our "grownup" lives.

2005 and 2009 have been great, but with the way I gestate, the actual years leave a bit to be desired.  ;)

I would say 2004 because that is when I got pregnant with Raven. Got pregnant with her on Halloween. I took care of my nephew most of the year before that and that was a lot of fun.

Hmm. I think I have a few good years, but if I had to pick my best then I would go with 2004.

We had such a fun year with getting married, buying house, getting pregnant ;)

It was just a great year.

I have had some really bad ones and some great ones as well.

I will say late 2001. We had been married long enough then that we were past the just moved in together stage-and seriously, the first 6 months of living together after we got married were not easy. (we got married 9/30/2000) So we were having fun by then-I was working as a sub, and then i got my first full time job as a media specialist that year, so work was good-for him it was too. We were living downtown, so we walked everywhere to bars and restaurants, and we went out with friends all the time. Now, we both gained a good bit of weight that year (from the bars and restaurants-apparently we didn't walk far enough, lol), but we were having a great time!!

It just felt so carefree back then. We didn't own anything but cars, and we had a lot of freedom and money, and we were romantic-by our standards anyway-back then. Those were good times. I wouldn't trade the girls for anything, but sometimes I miss that carefree feeling we had back then.

Hmmm, I guess my best year would be 2005. That was the year that followed us buying our house (we bought that in late 2004), George and I FINALLY got married, and we decided to have another child.

Things felt like they were really falling into place; I was in a great groove at work with a great manager, Danielle liked her school (which we were getting much more involved in), and we had no debt. We just really hit our stride, and were so happy.

Man, what a difference 3 years can make. I'm super hoping next year turns out to be my best year smile.

I would say 1999 - I met Don and was having a really fun time going out and having fun with friends and family. My mom and dad were both alive and I spent lots of time with both. Andrew was still my angel ;)

i think junior year of college.  i was having a BLAST socially, and was really defining career goals and academic interests. i definitely look back on that year as a great one.

I would have to say 2003.  We bought our condo and in the process I cleaned up a lot of past financial mistakes.  It felt like such a fresh start.

We also got married that year.

The whole year was like being swept up and carried along the path I was supposed to be on.

Wow how sad that I can't think of one. I mean 98 and 05 were great because I had my boys. I guess 94-95 was pretty good (senior year of high school) but there were defintiely HUGE bad parts to go with all the good.

I am really really hoping that despite the whole upcoming divorce that 2010 is the best year ever.

I'd say mid-97-mid-98. Hey, you said a year--that's a year! EJ and I met summer of 97 and got engaged summer of 98.

Also 2005 was pretty awesome. We were settled in our new apt, which we owned. I loved my job. I was pregnant and gave birth to Ethan. A good year all around.
